“Southampton Arts Academy's tutors are academics and alumni of the University of Southampton and the University of Cambridge, with more than 500 pupils since 2007. The academy is committed to a high standard of teaching and professional service. It provides art workshops, music lessons, GCSE, A-level, and language courses in Southampton. The academy has professional teaching rooms, recording studios, rehearsal rooms, study rooms, art studios, and galleries, providing an ideal learning environment. They offer a free trial lesson, but once registered, tuition fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Their registration options of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months correspond to 4, 12, 24, or 50 weeks, respectively, and expire at the end of the period regardless of the number of lessons taken. Each lesson is scheduled for one hour, but typically lasts around 55 minutes. After registration, lessons auto-renew, and to cancel auto-renewal, a two-week notice is required; otherwise, any outstanding lessons will be charged as single lessons (£50).

2025 Update: Southampton Arts Academy offers special courses for Children (4-8), Youth (8-18), Adults (18-65), Seniors (65+) and Learners with Special Needs. You can book a free lesson with Southampton Arts Academy.”

My son, age 9, is learning viola with Natalya. When the lockdown was introduced, we have decided to continue with on-line lessons and we have no regrets. Natalya is an amazing teacher and my son is continuing to make progress. I definitely recommend Music Maestros! Whether face to face or on-line learning the school delivers!

My daughter has lessons here. She can sight read, play beautifully and has learnt so much here. The teachers are amazing. This place is about learning and music passion and they really care about the students. Theory is incorporated in the lessons and it's about a full rounded music education. Absolutely recommend.

My daughter is learning piano with one of the teacher Sotia, she is very patient, my daughter likes her lesson. I definitely will recommend this musical school.

BENANA MUSIC STUDIO REVIEWS

Both my kids absolutely love their singing classes. We met 4 coaches so far and all of the were amazing, knowledgeable, professional and had great approach towards the children. My daughter is autistic and she needs some extra guidance. The teacher skillfully adjusted their teaching style to help her follow the instructions. The booking system is fool-proof and easy, lately improved even more. Prices are fair and packages really good. I recommend Benana to everyone.

I’ve had the pleasure of learning piano with Lily from Benana Studios. She’s incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and makes lessons genuinely enjoyable. Her teaching style is both engaging and motivating, and I’ve made significant progress in a short time. Lily is also friendly and funny, which makes learning that much easier. The entire Benana team is warm, welcoming, and highly professional, they truly make you feel like part of the Banana family. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn piano!

Ethan has been really good with our son. He's only 6 and he absolutely loves his lessons, right now it's just about him enjoying the instrument and learning a few chords. He's a real chatterbox though and Ethan is so patient with him and listens to him rambling on. He makes our son feel comfortable and safe to just be himself which is lovely.

SOUTHAMPTON ARTS ACADEMY REVIEWS

My daughter has had weekly singing lessons here for the past 18 months. Hossein has coached her brilliantly through the syllabus as well as supporting her to prepare for auditions & performances. She recently received a distinction in her L3 Musical Theatre course at college which she is unlikely to have achieved without Hossein's tuition. We cannot thank you enough for your contribution to her performing arts development.

I had private drum lessons here, I had an extremely positive experience. I learned a lot and my teacher was excellent, super helpful, and had extensive knowledge in multiple musical diciplines. I wish I could have had more lessons (personal circumstances have made this impossible, NOT the academy). I loved my time here and would highly recommend! You will not regret your decision.

Went on a visit to Southampton. Got a Persian setar lesson. It was a lovely experience. Hossein is a very patient and passionate teacher.
