If you need new glasses go here! Ive always dreaded glasses shopping, it takes hours and I could never find a pair I liked. After walking in here Jez managed to find me the perfect pair in all of about 10 mins, less than that really, and I've never loved a pair of glasses so much. It just goes to show how this little shop far exceeds all other high street businesses in every capacity. My own glasses aside, the range of glasses on offer is unique and interesting, customer service is 10/10, the vibes are immaculate, and his glasses cleaner is the dogs. I cannot rave about this place enough!!

What a discovery! An all too rare alternative to the standard high street offering that we’ve been used to. Passionate about the subject, knowledgeable about the industry and a quirky set-up mark this business out as a rarity - friendly impartial and professional independent advice. We were thrilled to find something different at last!

Great range and super friendly service with Jez helping to find the right size and colour frames for my face. I would recommend, lots of petite options and great quality frames.

Wow! Just wow! I emailed Jez at Eyes on St Albans as I'd broken my glasses and he was so helpful and personable on email, so a few days later I popped in to his incredible shop. Such a brilliant, colourful, arty, chilled out space. It's worth a visit just for that! And Jez himself was absolutely lovely. Really helpful, chatty, professional and kind. We had a lovely chat about music and guitars (ask him about the collection in the shop!) and he figured out a clever fix for my totally busted glasses super quick and at a really reasonable price. This year they've helped me find and pick out a new pair of glasses and prescription sunglasses, both of which I love. The consultation process for each pair was so lovely and showed me a great range of options. I've taken my prescription sunglasses on holiday (the first time I've had a pair) and they were amazing, so glad I got them. I've been coming here for contact lenses and eye appointments since I was young and all the staff have always been incredible.

I continue to be impressed at the service I receive at St Albans Eye Care Centre. Justin is so kind and knowledgeable. The tests he does are extremely thorough, using top quality modern equipment. Patricia was extremely patient, taking ages in helping me choose my ideal frames and I am delighted with them. Wearing them, I have received so many compliments. Thank you, team!
