Mr Sam Vollans is a highly specialised surgeon with shoulder and elbow conditions expertise. He completed his orthopaedic training in Yorkshire and further pursued advanced shoulder and elbow surgery training in the United Kingdom and Europe. During this period, he had the privilege of working alongside three globally renowned elbow surgeons. His clinical practice is exclusively dedicated to upper limb issues, specifically focusing on complex elbow surgeries, including those affecting children and adolescents due to sports-related complaints. Mr Vollans played a pivotal role in establishing the Yorkshire Elbow Network, and he receives referrals for challenging cases from across Yorkshire and beyond its borders. In addition to his work with a wide range of patients, Mr Vollans has had the opportunity to collaborate with elite gymnasts and racquet sports players, addressing elbow and shoulder problems in both adults and children.
