3 Best Parks in Cardiff, UK

Best park in Cardiff IMO. Been going here since I was a baby. Lovely boating lake where in the summer you can rent pedalos and rowing boats. On site there's a rather expensive pizza restaurant and the extortionate Marshfield ice-cream parlour, that will have your children crying to put your hands in your pockets. In the summer months visit the beautiful scented rose gardens that have a wide variety of blooms. Your children will love the modern soft safe play area with climbing walls, swings, seesaws and slides. My grandchildren love it here, my grandfather use to take me. It's so nice and definitely worth a visit just to walk around the lake dodging swans and ducks. Please refrain from feeding the swans and ducks with stale bread as it's not good for their digestive system, even worse the bread attracts rats who will also eat the eggs preventing the natural cycle of rebirth.

I recently visited this lovely park, and I must admit that I was quite taken aback by its beauty and tranquilly. The park is well-kept and features a great variety of plants, including trees, flowers, and greens. The grass is thick and soft, ideal for a picnic or just relaxing. The park is large and offers lots of space for people to roam around, engage in activities, or simply stroll. It was nice to see so many families with kids having a good time, as I noted. There is a playground for children in the park as well, and the young ones seemed to like it.

A truly beautiful space awaits, featuring meticulously maintained landscapes, meandering paths, and an extensive array of trees and plants. Children will particularly enjoy the thoughtfully designed play area, which offers plenty of opportunities for fun and exploration. This spot is an absolute must-visit if you ever find yourself in Cardiff.

Plenty of space to sit and have picnics. Good size parks for children of all ages. Splash pad is really big, with loads of different areas for kids of different ages. Had loads of fun here. Icecreams and food are also available in the grounds. Toilet block with baby changing facilities also here. Definitely coming back here.

An excellent park with great facilities. There's food and drink available, public toilets, play facilities for a variety of ages and an amazing splash park. There's lots of open space for the kids to play in too. Parking is also little difficult, but free on the street. Definitely a good place for a picnic and an afternoon out.

A beautiful park in Cardiff that is well kept, beautiful trees, flowers and lawns. Great selection of play areas for different ages and the splash park is exceptional! Love it!
