NATIONAL MUSEUM CARDIFF REVIEWS
Fantastic, educational day out in Cardiff. I learnt so much today during my visit, I loved the way the exhibition was curated, it was captivating and engaging. I couldn't take my eyes from the minerals and crystals and enjoyed learning about the history of our Earth, I found the timeline fascinating and really put things into perspective for me. The art gallery holds a great selection of works, covering a vast time period. I really enjoyed the modern art they had there. The perfect place for a rainy day or study trip.
Firstly, the building itself is beautiful inside and out. The museum is well set out, informative, and lots to see. The ground floor focuses on the natural history of Wales, the first floor on the history of art. A casual look would probably take around an hour and a half, but it's easy to spend much longer. There is no charge to visit, but donations are welcome. Recommended.
Really nice museum, suitable for visiting with children if they are bored or you are bored of them. .. We enjoyed to see the prehistoric world's exhibition with dinosaurs and other extinct creatures. The entrance is free, and I recommend!

TECHNIQUEST REVIEWS
We really enjoyed. There are many and varied things to explore/experience. A few not working but the rest is well-kept and very good value for kids' learning. We could do with a family discount but as price is a bit high but still well worth every penny whatsoever. Kids can learn different scientific phenomenon while actually playing with them. You can easily spend 2-3 hours if not more. The cafe is very nice. Parking is not a problem since public car park is just across the road.
Great day out at Techniquest. It’s been a few years since we last visited and what a transformation it’s had with loads of extras for both the kids and adults. A good half a day but you have the option of wearing your wrist band, leave the venue and come back during the day.
Loads of stuff to do for the whole family. I spent over three hours there with my three kids ages 7-12 and they loved it. A little pricey perhaps if you were only going for a short stay but for me it was totally worth it.

MUSEUM OF CARDIFF REVIEWS
Very nice little place with lots of local history, from Roman times to today. I especially enjoyed the chat with the historian there, he was very knowledgeable and gave me a few tips on where to go next. I also loved the dolls house showing decor changes over decades, absolutely gorgeous. And the hidden corridor in the back with the original tiles, stunning! And best of all, entry is free!!
I LOVED visiting the Museum of Cardiff! The exhibits were interactive and gave me an appreciation for the city I was visiting. I found the exhibit in the basement particularly interesting as it went through various movements and ideas that have shaped Cardiff. The staff we WONDERFUL, too! They were knowledgeable about the museum and the city. They gave me some great suggestions on where I ought to go to make the most of my one day adventure to Cardiff! I highly recommend a visit! (Also, it’s FREE!)
Very interesting, great stuff, really loved it. As a tourist I want to say that this is a place you need to visit.
