I was very impressed with the improvements in the play area since I last visited a year ago. The play equipment is great! An excellent multi-seated rocker horse on which siblings or friends could sit on at the same time; a roundabout that wheel chairs can access and a new swing that had a toddler seat opposite a normal swing so that either an adult or older sibling could be on it with the young child. Other equipment had been updated, eg new seats on the swings

Beautiful Victorian park in West Hull. Significant refurbishment has been done lately and the park is generally kept in a very good condition. Ideal for picnics, walks, exercise, ball games or just for some peace and tranquility.

A lovely park to take our 2 year old granddaughter to. Lots of grass to run and kick a ball in. A lovely choice of imaginative rides for toddlers up to Juniors. Finally, the marvellous Meerkats and a small animal centre with planned activities from time to time. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of dogs are walked in the park. All well supervised to date. There are picnic tables and benches to rest at when needed. There were tents (with people obviously fishing) on our visit today.

Beautiful Park extremely well maintained. Lots to do and loads of places for kids to go and explore safely. If you download the love exploring app you can down use this to find the Dinosaurs located around the park. Fabulous park a real gem and in my opinion the best park in Hull.

Pickering Park is a wonderful place to visit with family and dogs. Its lush greenery makes it a perfect spot to relax. The park features walking paths, ponds, bird-watching areas, playgrounds, and open spaces. It’s great for children, too, with so many birds to see. If you enjoy fishing, you’ll find that opportunity here as well.
