East Park is a lovely place for a family meet-up and is especially great for children, with many activities available. The park is located east of the city centre, on Holderness Road. There's a large play area for children of all ages. This is one of the country's biggest parks, including koi carp, waterfall gardens, and exotic birds. East Park has a great adventure play area with all the classic equipment and a few big surprises. The park has a grassed picnic area with sheltered tables. The park offers equipment and recreational facilities for visitors. Pedestrian entrances are on East Park Avenue, Ings Road, Summergangs Road, James Reckitt Avenue, and Holderness Road.

2025 Update: They take a stroll around 130 acres of parkland and have hot food, ice creams, and refreshments in the Pavilion Cafe. They also have a range of cycles for disabled visitors.

Pickering Park was established by Christopher Pickering, and the park officially opened on July 13, 1911. Christopher amassed his wealth as a merchant and ship owner, particularly in the Hull fish trade. Pickering Park offers a range of physical activities and outdoor sports. The park features various play equipment, including outdoor exercise equipment, a memorial garden, football pitches, a paddling pool, a sensory garden, and an 80-peg fishing lake. It also includes a toddler play area and a junior play area, as well as an outdoor gym and a permanent orienteering route. Beautiful ornamental gardens complete the park.

2025 Update: Assistance dogs are only allowed in the play area.
