“The Deep is a huge aquarium with over 3,000 creatures, including sharks and sawfish, and features an evening restaurant. The aquarium is one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world, home to magnificent sharks, rays, and other aquatic animals. The Deep Aquarium was designed by world-class architects Sir Terry Farrell and Partners and opened in 2002. The aquarium operates as an education charity and has become an international player in marine conservation. In the chilly Kingdom of Ice, visitors can learn about habitat challenges, climate change, ocean acidification, animal biology, and food chains. Finally, visitors can walk through the unique glass tunnel and observe the stunning marine life swimming all around. The Deep offers free admission for children aged three and under. Their main café in the aquarium serves hot breakfasts and meals and offers high chairs for families.

“2025 Update: Hull Truck Theatre was established in 1971 by musician and actor Mike Bradwell. Theatre's first production, Children of the Lost Planet, played to limited audiences, as did the next production, called Last of the Great Love Goddesses. The company started to create plays specifically for children. Hull Truck Theatre is innovative and community-focused, but it aims to inspire both creators and audiences to excel and grow. Hull Truck Theatre was acknowledged by a blue plaque to coincide with the theatre's 50th anniversary.”

Brilliant aquarium! It was absolutely stunning and had a vast selection of fish and sea creatures to see. This aquarium is good for all ages and is hard not to love. The tickets are valid for a year and I will 100% be coming back to take it all in again. The jellyfish exhibits are fascinating and the staff are there to chat about the animals if you come at a quieter time.

Amazing range of animals and fish. Entry price is valid for a full year so allows multiple visits if you live close enough. Good areas to view and take pictures of the animals, we didn’t expect there to be such a wide variety! Plenty of information and interactive learning resources about, which I imagine is great for school trips or curious children or even adults.

My kids absolutely love it here. There are so many things to see. Lots of information. Interactive things. We got to see the penguins being fed, which was fab. The lift back up at the end through the huge tank is amazing.

Fantastic place! Really takes you back and made me realise how much we as humans progressed! Fantastic place to bring children and have that perspective! We really enjoyed it, even had a ride and felt like Shrek, Fiona and Donkey in the horse carriage Free entry, you need about 1,5 h! Plenty to see! Next time we'll be there we' ll bring some 20p coins to try on gaming machines, A few of them got me intrigued ! It really helped me understand the English mentality and the thinking outside the box ability that many people here have and use it well! I really recommend it and am very grateful my friend Anna took us there!

I visit a lot of museums. Here in England and in all the Europe. I have lived in London for 12 years and I visit all of the London Museums. It's a nice museum, not too big and you have a lot of things to see. Is something what kids will like and for adults will be nostalgic because a lot of the things we use them ,we see them, we play with them .Is something for everyone's and I highly recommend it.Go there and spend few hours ,is free and is fun.

Absolutely loved my visit to the Streetlife Museum! My favourite part was the working vintage arcade machines, I will be back with more cash! This museum is fab for the whole family, with lots to see and do, and lots of immersive and interactive elements. The vintage wagon ride was quirky and well enjoyed too. I would recommend this museum to anyone and everyone - a MUST VISIT!

HULL TRUCK THEATRE REVIEWS

Great actors and very funny presentation of Pride and Prejudice. Mr Collins was sooo slimy! Minimal set and actors took on multiple tolls. Worked really well.

My wife and myself were in Hull for a couple of nights and we weren't expecting to go to the theatre. I'm so pleased we decided to go and see Mary and The Hyenas, a tremendous story about Mary Wollstonecraft a feminist pioneer. The Hull Truck Theatre is a brilliant building with an intimate theatre space. Staff were helpful and refreshments were enjoyable. We'll be back again and we can thoroughly recommend Hull Truck to all.

Great little theatre. Staff really welcoming and a superb selection of shows. Can't wait to go back
