3 Best Parks in Rhondda Cynon Taff, UK

I always enjoy visiting this park on my routine walks, it is a beautiful, clean and well maintained park. There are plenty of places to sit whilst you are there and they also provide restrooms and a cafe. I love seeing all the various plants and flowers around and also the lively nature in the trees and near the lake too. I bring my little dog here regularly and she just loves exploring this wonderful nature sanctuary. It gives you a wonderful sense of wellbeing and makes me very happy.

Absolutely fab park! The shop has a fantastic menu and the chips are proper good - ice cream well worth checking out too! Pedalos are £7 for about 30mins which was so much fun - view is well cool too! Then there's a whole range of birds to feed - everything from pigeons to ducks & ducklings to Canada Geese and Elder Ducks and I still haven't mentioned the park (swings slides etc), the splash pad and the squirrels and more! Get yourself up there!

Such a lovely surprise near to Aberdare town. A hidden gem suitable for all ages. A lovely cafe where you can grab a coffee. Lots of geese and other wildlife . Lovely rose garden and lots of different flora and fauna. Highly recommend this gorgeous park.

Lovely little council owned campsite great toilet block clean and modern, other facilities are excellent too such as chemicals toilet emptying and electrical posts. The site is adjacent to a cafe/ restaurant which again is well run and clean, opposite the cafe is a large play park which I'd very popular with the kids. On top of all this there is a lake 500m up the path and from there, there are long hikes available up and around the hills, all In all a very pleasant weekend or even a week if you like countryside walks. If you have a very large caravan or motorhome it can be a little frustrating and difficult negotiating the road upto the park entrance as the road is to all intense and purposes a single lane due to cars parked on the side of the road. But with a bit of patience, it will eventually be reached.

Lovely, quiet, clean caravan park. Spacious and clean shower and toilet facilities. Beautiful surroundings and pleasant walks. Close to local amenities and good road connections. Plenty for children to do at a nearby park and cycle track.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, lovely offerings in the cafe, good prices at the bike repair hut, amazing scenery - and fab trails!
