YNYSANGHARAD WAR MEMORIAL PARK REVIEWS
Love our local park...just off the main town center street...has an open air swimming pool, cricket pitch, football ground, bandstand, children’s play area, tennis courts, basketball court, 5 a side soccer pitch, sunken gardens, monument to the Falklands War & War memorial, public toilets, oodles of picnic areas and a monument to the composers of the Welsh National anthem.
Beautiful Autumn day for a walk, the council boy's bit of a losing battle collecting the leaves, the band stand refurb still ongoing must be being done on an hourly rate !! same with the new builds did notice the union jack flying high and proud near the remembrance wall for our local fallen heroes.
A great place to visit, whatever the time of year, to sit and ppl watch or watch the wildlife along the river bank. The colours of autumn are just stunning, a place I highly recommend.

DARE VALLEY COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS
Dare Valley Country Park had been developed on land reclaimed from the coal mining industry, and there are plenty of reminders of that heritage dotted around the park. There are a good number of walks to suit all ages and abilities, including pushchair and wheelchair access to the main areas. There are two play areas four the children, and a small camp site. The lake hosts a wide variety of wild fowl and there are plenty of birds and animals to satisfy most nature lovers, including nesting peregrine falcons at the top end of the park. Although spoiled, a little, by the construction of a wind farm on the mountain overlooking the park, it is still well worth a visit. With free parking and an excellent cafe serving well-prepared hot food, it is a good for a full day out, or even just a coffee stop.
An absolutely amazing gem of a place to visit. With so many different beautiful paths to take when your here. You could never get bored of this outstanding natural beauty. I it here and highly recommend visiting. Be prepared though it can be very muddy and there are some very step hill climbs if you feel adventurous or you can stay on the path and do a nice easy walk with beautiful views.
Lovely campsite toilet block spotless, nice check in girl was fab. Lovely walks around the lakes and beyond wildlife in abundance. Nice cafe, Lovely weekend break.
