QUEEN'S PARK REVIEWS
Great little park. Plenty of play equipment both next to the cafe and (for smaller children) at the other side of the cafe near the pond. The cafe is good, and had toilets. Parking is fairly plentiful, across from the park, it's been expanded fairly recently. Cars are safe there, I've never heard of problems. There is a skate park and a pond full of waterfowl. There's basic outdoor gym equipment. There's a larger field near the bridge which is great, although it gets boggy at one end sometimes. Across the river there are a few more walks. The fountain is sometimes on, which is great to see. There are badminton/tennis courts and a spotless bowling green. It's not huge, but it's a great park and perfect for those with small pets, children, the elderly, families, and those who want peace and quiet or some exercise. Well done to the council for this little gem, and everyone who goes there that seem friendly and make it what it is.
Queens Park is a beautifully maintained park with tons of facilities. It’s family and dog friendly and wheelchair accessible all around the park. There’s the potential to go on nature walks beyond the park as well. There’s a band stand, various exercise areas, a cafe and I believe the BMX track is being reinstated at some point as well. Lots of wildlife and beautiful trees.
Beautiful park with lake and amenities. Loved the planting in this park, lots of beautiful flowers and trees. Geese, ducks and swans are all visible on the lake. There’s a vending machine for bird feed. There’s also a number of interesting statues and installations. There’s a large children’s play area and an exercise park.

SPRINGFIELD PARK REVIEWS
It was really really fun we had food, saw some ducks, played football and basketball, played in the playground and even went to the gym. The bad things about it was that we couldn’t find parking for an hour but that was just probably because it was a sunny day. I would definitely recommend coming here, next time I go I am definitely bringing bikes and tennis equipment.
Lovely lovely lovely. Loads of grass, "tennis courts" to have a kick about with a ball. Weird and wonderful climbing frames and a really nice playground.... Swings etc. Lots and lots of geese on the pond. Keep fit equipment available for everyone and even more climbing "stuff". If I had a criticism, there could be more suitable seating around the keep fit and climbing frames. I'm disabled and the one seat that is there is so low I have to use the fence behind it to help me get up from it.
Free parking available inside the park. Great kids play area and climbing frames, they have little bird's nest's for the kids to climb in. Take plenty of seed to feed the ducks and geese. Plenty of open space for a picnic and there is a large Tesco just down the road for drinks and snacks.
