Hollingworth Lake Country Park organises a full programme of guided walks and event. They also offer school visits for all ages and abilities. They have a permanent exhibition of local wildlife and heritage, a gallery of artists work, information desk, shop, cafe, toilets, and free-to-use mobility scooter hire. Rowing boats are available for hire on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from April-September and weekday afternoons throughout the school summer holidays. You can see a variety of waterfowl on the lake. Wheelchairs are accessible. Guide dogs permitted.

The park has a large fenced-off duck pond with picnic seating areas, plenty of ducks, geese, and a couple of swans. The park also has a beautiful garden with pond birds swings walking track tennis court and lots more. They afford free entry.
