We have been coming here for many years and have always enjoyed good food and great service. Last night we had a family meal to celebrate our golden wedding. The atmosphere, service and food all combined to make this a wonderful evening. Many thanks to Ana and staff especially Adam who looked after us all night.

Popped in on a Wednesday evening with the family and really enjoyed it. We opted for the 7inch pizzas, which seem a bit small at first but filled us all up nicely. The location is great and the staff were super friendly.

Amazing food and service! Felt very looked after by the staff and would definitely recommend. The price was really good for what we had and will be returning for sure.

It's such a nice place to grab some delicious food at a reasonable price inside the university. Most importantly they have vegetarian options available. Their pizza's and garlic bread are just awesome. They have a variety to offer in terms drinks and desserts as well. Also they have amazing meal deals.

Nice atmosphere and setting. Pizza was OK but clearly was using lower quality cheese and tasted what you'd expect from a pizza and burger takeaway you can find all over the place. For being on campus the ease of access is good however, there are much better options in Lancaster.

Really helpful guys, cooked me an absolutely delicious vegan pizza. Loved it.

AQUILA WOOD FIRED NEAPOLITAN PIZZA REVIEWS

I tried their Nduja Pizza, made with San Marzano tomatoes, parmesan, mozzarella, spicy nduja sausage spread, basil, and extra virgin olive oil, it was absolutely delicious. The garlic bread was phenomenal, especially when paired with their homemade garlic and chili dips. The service was very welcoming, and the ambience was quite decent. Parking is most likely available along the roadside.

Absolutely incredible pizza! The crust is perfectly light with that authentic wood-fired smokiness, and the toppings are fresh and generous without ever feeling heavy. Service was quick and friendly, and everything arrived hot and full of flavor. Easily one of the best Neapolitan pizzas I’ve had in the UK. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Cosy little place, the large wood-fired oven in the background adds a bit of theatre. Pizzas here are very good indeed - you’ll have to try hard to find somewhere as good. Tiramisu is bob on too.
