Food was tasty, right temperature, fresh. We had a mixed grill and an Himalayan ghost, that were brought timely. Large portions. The restaurant was very well staffed. Waiters and runners are attentative and quick. I would only say that the sauces for pompadoms could have thicker consistency.

Best in town but probably best in the county. Have visited several times, both dine in and take out and it never let us down. The food is of highest standards, very delicious. The menu offers a wide selection to every taste. The staff is wonderful and does absolutely everything to keep customers satisfied.

My boyfriend took me here tonight for my birthday , the restaurant is beautiful and warm the staff are amazing and so friendly ! The food was brought out fast amd hot it tasted lovely . I cut stress enough just how nice every member of staff are ! They went above and beyond for us. Thank you to everyone who works there we will treasure out elephant forever !

This is hands down the best Indian food in Lancaster! Not only is the food incredible, but the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere that really enhances the dining experience. The service was fantastic—the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant on my Chinese social media and I can’t wait to visit again. I highly recommend the prawn curry—the prawns were incredibly fresh and flavorful. An absolute must-try!

During our overnight stay in Lancaster, we were in the mood for a good curry, and this restaurant came highly recommended—and it didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. We especially loved the unique setting inside a beautifully decorated old church, which added a special touch to our dining experience. While the restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, they offer non-alcoholic beer that paired nicely with our meal. A special shoutout to Ash, the manager, who was incredibly friendly and even suggested a lovely route for a quick walk around Lancaster. Highly recommend.

Better than Brick Lane... soz Londoners! This was a really great find and is a real GEM of Lancaster. We were intrigued by the building, which is an old church and went in to see if they had tables, not expecting to find a beautifully decorated room, a friendly welcome, EXCEPTIONAL service by a lovely gentleman called Wasim. He was attentive, polite and full of joy. We had the most amazing Indian food I have ever tasted. The mango lassie is INCREDIBLE! Delicious Poppadoms and Chutneys (the red one which I have never seen before was very tasty) and EXCELLENT curry's. I will certainly return! Thank you Sultan of Lancaster, thanks to the friendly Manager whose name I forgot to ask and thank you Wasim, blessings to you.

Decided to order a curry so this place pops up .. Besides the menu being extensive the food was superb. We decided on a set meal costing a VERY reasonable £24 the bag came chockerblock ,2 currys and all the extras .. Definitely definitely recommend.

Yum yum yum. Really good curry. Good flavours, good use of spices, fresh ingredients. The curries, breads and all starters were perfect. Next time I'm here I'll be ordering from this place. Probably one of best curries I've ever had

Ordered online and received confirmation email. Delivery was nearly an hour late, I rang them and they said the order hadn't been received. They sent the order via taxi, costing them £15. The food was hot and delicious. I would highly recommend food and customer service was excellent
