Came to Bournemouth for a day trip. Found the Mary Shelly, ordered the fish and chips, it was on the afternoon offer 2/5pm. I was the best fish and chips I’ve eaten for some time. The batter was so lovely and crunchy, the fish nice and chunky and delicious. The chips hot and freshly cooked. Just amazing, we did not have to wait long, it was amazing, thank you.

This is a very popular spoons. It has a vibrant atmosphere. Food is hot. Welcoming for all groups. Cater all needs. Wine cheaper than other spoons which is good. Quiz nights. Great staff. Always come here when visiting bourbemouth.

Lovely Wetherspoon. Another unique carpet. A lovely 3d sign outside the pub. The curries we had tasted as lovely as every other Wetherspoon.

An awesome find for a Wednesday evening! Excellent atmosphere and great selection of beers and ciders on tap and shots menu Brilliant to have found Sxollie on tap as it’s my fave.

Love this place, really quirky and interesting! Lots to look at! Friendly staff and fab cocktails. Loved the outdoor seating area, beach huts with heating we fab , nice touch! Really liked it here.

Loved having lunch here. Pub has lots of personality. Events advertised, which looked appealing. I enjoyed taking pictures at the photo booth downstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, all of our group had burgers, chips, and slaw. Reasonably priced. Lots of choice of food and drink. I would highly recommend coming here.

Chaplins is one of those rare, one-of-a-kind places. The live music creates an incredible atmosphere, with a big crowd cheering and encouraging everyone to sing along—it’s such a fun, lively vibe! What I really love is the theme of the place, blending a vintage feel with trendy, modern touches that make it stand out. The service is equally impressive. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making sure we got exactly what we wanted, and quickly too! Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a memorable night out. Definitely worth checking out.

Brilliant place! Many, many moons ago, I went here for a night sesh with some work colleagues. What I remember of it was great songs, a ram packed bar, and my now wife doing the All Blacks Hacker. More recently, 14th Sept., we came here for some lunch. It has expanded and has become even more unique (which I didn't think was possible). It's hard to describe what it's like, but go and visit for some food and keep spending throughout the night. Chaplins & Cellar Bar should be a landmark for Boscombe & Bournemouth.

Great bar! A beer garden, a bar and a cellar bar. Everthing is well connected and quirky. Staff are happy and a good selection of local and mainstream beers. Its worth eating here aswell.
