Visited Wetherspoons on way back home . We love this place . Dint have food this time or alcoholic drink but coffee and tea from the set serve machine . Wonderful helpful young man behind bar served us . Very pleasant experience . Cheerful and helpful young man who is off to Newcastle Uni next month to study Medicine. Have to say all Wetherspoon staff we have found extremely polite helpful and courteous .. always a smile and go out of their way to give the customer a first class service with very very reasonable priced food and all beverages . £1.79 a pint for beer/ lager on Wednesdays !!! Great place great staff ! The best . Love The Highland Laddie Norton . We are regulars who don’t live in Norton . Keep up the good work . Ten out of ten.

Solid 'Spoons right here! As always , great value with a massive selection of food and beers. The venue itself was packed when we visited in a weekday evening at 19:00 and we were lucky to get a table. Food was pretty decent for what it is and really fast to the table. The staff were spot on, as well.

We visited with family for tea. Very clean plenty of room and food was brought out very quickly and all requirements adhered to. 2 disabled people with walking difficulties and all their requirements were met in entry,seating and toilet facilities. Staff were attentive throughout the visit.well done.

Very welcoming, staff were attentive and pleasant. Food was plentiful and tasty. A gem of a place that I'll be going back to.

A friendly pub with good food and cheap beer! Sally went out of her way to make sure the whole group was well accommodated (including the sassy puppy.

Popped in for a mixed grill, perfectly cooked, large portion size, staff are very friendly. Would highly recommend.

THE POT & GLASS REVIEWS

I've started visiting the Pot and Glass on a regular basis over the past few weeks since it has changed hands. The staff are very welcoming and friendly as well as the locals from the village. Decided to try the food for the first time as it's a Thai and Cambodian menu, we ordered the duck spring rolls tp shear as a starter and the red Thai and green Thai curry as a main. Over all the food was absolutely brilliant and if Thai and Cambodian style food is your thing then I highly recommend.

Called in for a pint and was really surprised with the building. It looks incredible. The staff are very welcoming, and the locals are great to chat with. The pint of Brains Beer was the right temperature and looks to be kept in good condition.

We came for food with family visiting from out of the area. The service was brilliant, the man serving us had us all laughing and the lady behind the bar was lovely and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you.
