Had a fantastic meal here this afternoon. They have a separate Vegan menu and I chose the 3 course set menu. I had Pakora's to start then a gorgeous carrot and spinach wellington followed by a peanut brittle sundae Great portion sizes and very reasonably priced.

Lovely place to go for a meal. It had the best selection of vegan food of any pub. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were excellent along with being beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended.

Nice place with plenty parking available. Good atmosphere, large food and drinks menu , friendly staff. Food was well presented and very tasty.

HOGSHEAD WOLVERHAMPTON REVIEWS

It’s been almost 25 years since I’ve been back to Wolverhampton and this place was a great way to experience my trip. Absolutely loved the bartenders! They were fantastic, fast, and never once had to wave them down for another pint. I had a wicked cool chat with local - this gent was probably one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. This guy was awesome! If I ever come back to Wolverhampton again, I will definitely be stopping in for some food and a few pints.

We went for bottomless brunch and it was one of the best we’ve been to. Great food and cocktail selection. The food portions were generous and all the cocktails we tried were delicious. Special mention to Aliah who was brilliant throughout and couldn’t have done more to help us.

Had the opportunity to visit once 2 years ago and recently for a dinner celebration. Accidentally reserved during a match day so when I arrived, it was bustling full of people. However, soon died down when they all left to go to the stadium. I'm very thankful for the security they have around during match days, as they are quick to shutdown any commotion. Staff are very nice and friendly, go out of their way to help customers and being courteous. Food tasted amazing with drinks. It's definitely a good location if you just want to have a drink but a great location too for really good food.

Fantastic pub. Superb selection of real ales with all the usual Black Country ale snacks. Faultless thank you. But avoid match days when the locals glare at you if you’re not wearing a Wolves shirt chill out mate, we’re only hear for the beer.

Well worth checking this pub out - just up from the Posada on the right. 10 cask ales on including cider, stout & porter. The usual high standards you come to expect from all Black Country Ales outlets.

The lych Gate tavern is a very old pub. It has been sympathetically restored, and there is a brass plaque on the wall outside with information about it. There is an excellent range of beers, lagers, and cider, including some very good hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. From the street level, the pub is down several flights of stairs, but there is a lift for disabled access. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's a lovely cosy pub.
