The men came and did the work quoted and was agreed to be done. They were very professional they even answered all our little niggling questions we had. The work was carried out to a very high professional standard even down to the cleaning and clearing of the mess that was made due to the work. We have now asked them to come along and see what can be repaired to our roofing, We cannot recommend them highly enough. They should be the first company you call for any stone/roofing work needed done. Fantastic company and customer service second to none.
Arrived on time and completed the work quicker than I expected. The one skin rubber looks great and well finished off. One small detail I needed fixed but this was done with no hassle. Would definitely have them back for any roofing work I need done.
My chimney pot blew off when we had high winds Luckily it blew off the side of the house so there was no damage done. I contacted Probuild Contracts to fix the problem and they recommended that they should remove the second pot and replace with metal cowls. Work was completed in no time at all. Will certainly use them again. Excellent service.

I recently engaged Probuild Contracts Ltd for roofing works. I contracted and paid for code 5 lead watergates. Probuild installed zinc watergates (a much inferior and cheaper product with a shorter lifespan). The company charged me the higher lead price whilst providing me with an inferior product and admit this in writing. Probuild also failed to complete the agreed scope of works. Works identified as defective by their own surveyor, Owen, were not replaced (despite being paid for). Additionally, sealant works included in the contract were also omitted on first execution. Probuild have failed to honour the works contracted into and refuse to remedy their failures and/or refund me the cost for the remediation work. The after-care received and lack of accountability has been nothing but extremely poor! A court claim has been filed at Edinburgh Sheriff Court and I note that I am not the first to do so from looking at other reviews! I would also note that Probuild Contracts Ltd is not a registered Scottish company. The legal entity is Roof and Build Group Ltd (Company No. SC668168). Based on their latest accounts, Probuild / Roof and Build Group are trading insolvent with disclosed net liabilities over 50k in the red, rendering any guarantees they provide worthless. Potential customers should satisfy themselves as to the identity and financial standing of the contractor before proceeding but by far, the worst contractor that I have ever had the misfortune of working with. - Colin Reply
Excellent service from start to finish. We recently had roofing and building work completed and couldn’t be happier with the result. The team were professional, reliable and kept us informed throughout the job. The workmanship was completed to a very high standard, and they left everything clean and tidy afterwards.
