Visited 1st August. Food was fantastic, good quality ingredients and big portions. The prawn cocktail was great and really good value. Cockle popcorn was so tasty and could have eaten 2 portions as so nice. Friendly staff and and a nice vibe. Advise to boom well in advance as always busy. Looking forward to our next meal.

Had a lovely lunch with my partner and son. Shared the plate for two and ordered cockle and shrimp popcorn which was delicious. Food was great and generous (though the hot prawns with chorizo were overcooked sitting in the hot sauce). Friendly service. We'd definitely go back again and try other items on the menu.

Generous and delicious seafood: we came for lunch and for starters we had the prawn cocktail which was creamy and plentiful, and the cockle and shrimp popcorn which was lightly crumbed and very moreish. My husband had crab cakes for a main, and I had the dressed crab: all delicious and came with lovely crispy chips. A real treat! And very efficient and friendly service.

Visiting our daughter and son in law this weekend in Billinghurst and decided to drive down to Worthing to this little gem ..and wow. Wasn't it worth it... from when we walked in. .it was fantastic ..freshly cooked food made to order. My daughter and I had the King prawn and Scallop risotto..it's was glorious and the boys had fresh dressed crab crispy home made chips and salad.. absolutely splendid..and the crispy Belgium waffles with ice cream cream and chocolate sauce were to die for. Lovely menu ..and not just fish...streak and sausages to.. cocktails and amazing sweets. Friendly warm welcome and service..Would definitely recommend.and will be returning.

Lovely restaurant with nice staff. Sitting outside in the sun was great even if on a busy road. Calamari was some of the nicest I’ve had in a long time. Dressed crab was fresh & salad accompaniment was lovely. Fish tacos were a big portion & all chips were homemade. 2starts 2 mains and a bottle of wine for just under £70. Excellent.

Delicious fish dinner, really loved the whitebait to start and lobster main, served with a really fresh side salad! Staff were very friendly and accommodating, also recommend the Gavi if you’re after a white wine.

THE ARCADES FISH RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Was taking a walk from West Worthing to Worthing and getting a bit peckish. Since I love fish, so thought to give this venue a go. It has a very nice setting overlooking the Worthing pier. And though it was a warm day, the indoor seating has AC (you can sit outside too). The food we had was great, and for me who really likes Whitebait the whitebait here was the best I've had so far. The calamari was also very nice, not overly cooked and lightly battered. The other two were happy with their food also. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Stop by for lunch on a 3 day stay in the area, it was superb, so much so we came back on the 3rd day. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. I had the plaice during our first visit it was very nice the batter was light and crunchy with some amazing fries while my partner on both occasions enjoyed their Rib-eye steak again served with fries the salad that comes with it was pretty standard.

Dine here today and would highly recommend their pasta. Freshly cooked fish and chips as well. The place is spacious as well for our little ones, and also got plenty of options for kids menu.
