3 Best Steak Restaurants in Southend On Sea, UK

Took a large party here for a birthday. They were quite busy with a great atmosphere. The service was fantastic, served by a charming and attentive young lady called Ellie. The food was so so good! between us all we pretty much ordered most the menu. From the starters to the perfectly cooked quality steaks and the tasty and generous portions of deserts, all were cooked and presented to a very high standard. Truly restaurant quality, far exceeds that of a “pub”.

Had breakfast here two days in a row as part of the premier inn breakfast deal. Can’t fault it, lots of food, all fresh and tasty. Plenty to choose from and the staff were absolutely lovely. It was the perfect start to the day.

Visited last week with friends as a thank you for looking after our pet cat whilst we were on holiday. This is our "go to" place to for a good meal at lunchtime & early evening. The staff are always friendly & efficient. The menu offers plenty of choice & all the usual options. Plenty of parking at this time of the day. Can't speak for evenings, but would recommend at the times we regularly visit.

Very impressed with the recent upgrade to the restaurant decor, loved being able to look out onto the wind surfers. Had a lovely meal out, great food and well stocked salad bar - our server Liam was happy, professional and very helpful! Will definitely be returning.

The food was lovely. Staff members were fantastic. They were short staffed tonight, couldn't fault the service. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely meal in a chilled out atmosphere.

The food was delicious although it was a little slow in coming out. But that was more than made up for by the outstanding customer service. I last visited a year ago and vowed never to return but was told a change of management had happened so decided to give it another go. Our waiter Liam was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. He made us feel very welcome and even assisted with food choices when we couldn’t decide between 3 dishes. He was also training a new member of staff and was patient and helpful to her as well. One of the managers, Jane happened to be the person who got our bill for us and she was also so friendly. This time was hugely different from the last time I visited and I can’t emphasise enough how much the new management have improved things.
