The decor and casual, relaxed vibe is 100% authentic and we love it here. I come back to Mumbles quite regularly and try to visit every time - always book at weekends - can usually walk in mid week. Very, very friendly team and owner - superb food reasonably priced. Delicious - you may not have eaten Japanese before but definitely try it. My elderly Mum had to be convinced to try it and absolutely loved it too.

Been coming to Nishimura for years, and have to say it never disappoints. Realised they changed their location and upgraded into a lovely looking building near the Beach in mumbles and had to come again! The food is always delicious, the staff are very friendly and polite, and the restaurant itself is beautiful and clean. Highly recommend to anybody looking to try Japanese food in Swansea! This is the place to go. 10/10.

The ONLY sushi good restaurant in Swansea (aside from their sister restaurant in Mumbles). Manager Catherine and her staff, Olivia, Madeira and Seren, plus the incredible kitchen staff, make this place feel like you are in downtown Manhattan or Tokyo. The entire experience is geared to, and delivers at, a level so far above the norm that you can't wait to come back for another visit. Once you've eaten here everything else is an also ran!

Went for food with my partner on a Saturday night was pretty busy and most people had bookings they managed to fit us in which was great! Food was amazing best ive had in a very long time would highly recommend. The flavours were great every bite was like a whole new experience :) will definitely be back again and again.

Busy for a Tuesday lunchtime when we visited. Excellent food and service at the right price. Would thoroughly recommend and will be back.

Great place for lunch. The sushi platter and tempuras were good (particularly the mango selection sushi) while the unagi hand roll was delicious. The staff was amiable and on time, great service.

LITTLE TOKYO REVIEWS

Sweet little place inside Swansea market. Often ran by only the owner himself, the quality and service is amazing. The owner puts so much care into his food and it shows in the presentation and the taste. Good price for food too, sushi is normally quite pricey, but it is sold here at a fair price, and again, amazing quality. One of my all time favourite food places, by far.

We weren't sure about this place as it's tucked away in the market and no-one was sat eating, but watching them prepare the food, the smells!!! Oh my life. We devoured our meals - they were delicious. We had the teriyaki duck and chicken katsu don. The staff were so lovely and friendly. We'll definitely be back again!

Little Tokyo is a gem in Swansea Market. Theie sushi is delicious, I would definitely recommend! Try the Dragon Roll, you won't regret! What a treat!
