Lamont chairs have transformed what were an old sofa and armchair into the most beautiful items of furniture in our home. The quality of the traditional upholstery is second to none. Friendly and helpful craftsmen who offered excellent professional advice. I would highly recommend them without hesitation.

We had a Multiyork chair to recover and tried very hard to find someone to supply covers in a fabric we wanted. the quotes we had were riduclously high and timings were comical. Andy at Lamont stepped up and completely recovered the chair at less cost and within a week of delivering the chair to them it was transformed. We could not be happier with it Reply

Steve and Andrew did an amazing job rebuilding and re-covering a 20 year old Wesley Barrell chair. They used two cow hides and reupholstered the frame using traditional methods with hand sprung and hair and fibre padding and they altered the frame for full seat. They are real craftsmen and their charges were very reasonable.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Friendly, reliable, respectful and professional. Thank you so much for giving my grandmothers old chaise a new lease of life. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Had these dining chairs for a lot of years and the seats especially were way past their prime, but rather than give up on them I decided to try the re-upholstery route. Amy has been extremely helpful in discussing and providing advice on all aspects to meet the requirement and did this in a genuine, efficient and friendly manner. Her actual work on the seats was superb, and I’m exceptionally pleased with the result. The chairs look better than ever now. I highly recommend Amy. Thank you.

Amy created a gorgeous cushion for our living room. She was very helpful when choosing the fabric, giving us lots of advice and help, we love our new cushion and it looks gorgeous in our new home.

Contacted this gentleman with unusual request as I sm disabled abd use a specially designed cushion to sit on to drive and one for my back . These were made about 25 years ago and fabric was wearing incredibly thin and needed replacing. He took the time to find a fabric that he had in stock which matched the colour I wanted and recovered both for me at a very reasonable cost. They look really good now and hopefully will last the rest of my driving years (doubt that will be 25 years). Lovely , friendly, helpful man.

Mr Kenworthy is a credit to the community. During my move he lent me a barrow trolley to move heavy items into my new flat when he saw my boyfriend and I struggling. Very grateful for him to go out of his way to help. I’m sure he is as helpful with customers who require upholstering expertise.

Mr Kenworthy made a fantastic job of our two sofa seat cushions that were worn. The sofa looks new again. The job was completed speedily and at reasonable cost. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any upholstery work.
