THE OLD JOINT STOCK PUB & THEATRE REVIEWS
An excellent Fuller's in a glorious old building overlooking the cathedral. There is a good selection of drinks (and a decent food menu). A terrace out back, and (at least in summer) several tables outside on the pavement at the front where you can sit and watch the world go by (though be prepared for the beggars). The staff are very good and attentive, including clearing empties. It can get busy, but there's plenty of space, including some lovely nooks and crannies. The toilets were clean enough, but on my last visit one of the hand driers was out of order.
What an amazing location, wow: you can really get into their culture thanks to this restaurant, a real english pub! They are serving traditional pies, you should try them! Good red wines available.
Worth going out of your way for. Amazing selection of drinks and very good food menu with something for all tastes. Formerly a bank, so the decor is exceptional - huge high ceilings and beautiful lighting. We hadn't planned on eating here but couldn't resist the small bites and we were not disappointed! Best scotch egg ever.

THE PLOUGH HARBORNE REVIEWS
This is a lovely pub with an excellent terrace atmosphere. Unfortunately we had to ask for water which was normally brought to the table or atleast made aware of. I wish I had been more hungry because the food was delicious.
A great and friendly pub, with a unique experience that allows you to order from a tablet situated on the table. Makes ordering and paying extremely easy, and I believe a great addition to any pub. Food was tasty and had a great lunchtime deal on Calzone. I would love to return when I'm next in the area.
Stunning restaurant. Food was incredible. Had the house breakfast and it was delicious. Great portion size. Amazing service. Everyone was so friendly.

The Wellington, established in December 2004, is strategically located in the heart of the business district, with convenient access to both New Street and Snow Hill Stations, each just a brief 5-minute stroll away. The primary focus at The Wellington is to offer a diverse selection of well-maintained real ales, complemented by a variety of high-quality lagers, ciders, and imported bottled beers. On the ground floor, you'll find an impressive assortment of Scotch whiskies, while the first-floor bar boasts an extensive selection of whiskies from across the globe. In addition to this, they have recently introduced a range of specialty gins and rums. You're encouraged to bring your food or order takeaway items such as curry or pizza, which can be conveniently delivered to the pub. The establishment also provides plates, cutlery, and condiments for dining convenience.

THE WELLINGTON REVIEWS
Fantastic pub which was one of just a few around the area that were open later into the evening when I was there on a Sunday. Great selection of real ales, quick service, definitely recommend popping in for a beer. Was busy, but I was still able to find myself a seat.
Fantastic pub with a massive selection of beers on draft and a great and interesting building. It was a little disturbing to see so few people drinking the ales, but maybe that was just a Saturday night in the City sort of thing. Lovely little outside terrace for a quiet chat in theory, but as it was a Saturday night it was really busy and lots of smokers. Will definitely have to come back here for a midweek drink. My new favourite pub in Birmingham I think.
Super pub with an extensive range of real Ales, lots of them locally brewed, and all expertly kept. The staff were really friendly... I felt like a regular after less than an hour!
