Found this bakery on our recent trip to Bath! O and we are so glad ! Their chocolate babka had a rich chocolatey filling, so good and so fresh! All their pastries looked amazing! All baked fresh the same day! And of course we picked up a couple of loaves - ciabatta and multi seed sourdough! The staff is nice and friendly and also sliced and packed the loaf for us to take home!

Popped into Bertinet Bakery this morning and bought an Oblong Sourdough loaf and a salted caramel chocolate brownie. The bread from this Bakery is outstanding! We never eat any other bread in our home due to the sheer quality of Bertinet. If you get the chance to visit the bakery it is well worth the visit. As for the brownie, salted caramel heaven! Update: I went in and bought a pear and hazelnut tart, which was incredible.

Bertinet Bakery in Bath is exactly what we seek when looking for our perfect sandwich. My husband had the prosciutto with sun-dried tomato and the gentleman behind the counter was kind enough to make mine without the tomato. Perfect combination of flavors on delicious bread.

The moment I got off the train I made a beeline straight there, which was a great decision on my part. I go to a LOT of bakeries and I can easily say this is one of the best bakeries I've visited in the UK to date. There was an incredible selection, and everything I bought was laminated to perfection and full of flavour. The Eccles Cake, Pump Street Cookie and Pig's Ear were some of the best pastries I've tasted in a long time, and the pastrami pizza was impeccable too.

Absolutely delicious little bakery on Walcot Street with the best breads, pastries and sandwiches in Bath. Everything is freshly baked on site, and you can smell them as they come out of the oven. While the store is tiny, it packs a punch with all sorts of lovely wines and deli goods. Great coffee too!

Wife had found then via Instagram. Went in the morning for breaky and was not disappointed in the least. The Mortadella and Ricotta Focaccia was unreal and and cardamom bun was excellent. a must if in the area.

This café is an absolute gem. The pastries are outstanding — each one looks like a little work of art and tastes even better. Fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced in sweetness and texture. The staff are friendly and attentive, always with a warm smile.

You can't come to Bath and not try this place. Absolutely delicious pastal de natas. Lots of choice and flavours. Plenty of other things on the menu. You can watch them make the cakes fresh.

The severs are super friendly. They had four different kinds of pastel de natas which were biscoff, pistachio, Nutella and the original one. Initially, I tried the original one with latte. The tart was so delicious that I bought 4 more for takeaway. Also, there’s sitting space upstairs with a good view. I’d definitely recommend this place for a short break :)
