The Scallop Shell is proud to fry their dishes in a custom-built, environmentally friendly range using TQ Omega Plus oil, which is high in monounsaturated fats, Omega 9 and GM and allergen-free. The restaurant chips are peeled and freshly cut from the best seasonal spuds and prepared daily for you in their particular spud room. Honestly, y’all need to come to this restaurant if you like seafood. Absolutely delicious food and marvelous service. Great vibes, and plus, it’s a pet-friendly restaurant. Literally, 10 out of 10! If you wonder which white wine to order to match the seafood, go with the Chablis, a French one.

Great seafood restaurant in Bath. Super fresh, great execution. Lovely staff and fast service! Definitely a must try.

Fantastic restaurant, the food is delicious and made quite quickly since placing an order. Skate wing is now my personal favorite, so highly recommend opting for that one if available on the menu! The staff and very friendly and the atmosphere has the vibe of a family run place, which makes it even more special. Enjoyed every minute there.

Very nice restaurant cooking a real Mediterranean food with freah fishes. We ordered several starters instead if a bigger main...that's the secret to discover this place! We loved everything, food and great wines and while the service was the service was outstanding! Thanks so much for this great moment.

Stumbled across this place while visiting Bath via our canal holiday. What a find. Such lovely staff and the food was absolutely amazing.

Awesome food, spacious dinning area, and the staff are just attentive and caring. Oysters are fresh the grilled octopus are great appetizers. Portions for mains are generous and I must recommend the half lobster and whole crab.

Our waitress, Angelina, was absolutely fantastic- she was the perfect level of attentiveness, really helpful and gave great recommendations when we asked. Food is probably on the more expensive side but is very tasty so would still definitely recommend it if you are comfortable spending a bit more. We loved that you could order lots of bits to share because it gives you a good taste of a variety of dishes! Definitely worth swinging by if you’re in town.

Fabulous meal last week. Everything was so fresh, and all made to order. The staff were utterly charming. Can’t wait to return.

The food was delicious, presentation and service were great. We went for lunch and the prices were appropriate. This restaurant offers a fine dining experience preserving most of the traditional Japanese ingredients. I think the only problem is that they need to make it clear to all customers that they are neither a traditional Japanese restaurant nor a Japanese fast food restaurant, but a fine-dining Japanese restaurant.
