MILLER & CARTER BATH REVIEWS

We came to Bath for a day trip last Monday. After being ignored and then getting terrible service at a different restaurant we left and called into Miller and Carter in Bath. It was a very hot day, but inside the restaurant was so cool and comfortable. There were 3 of us and we all ordered something different from the set lunch menu. I had the tomahawk pork chop. It was so good. I did have to share a bit with my husband and daughter!! They had a steak and a steak sandwich. At the end of the course, all that was left was a bit of watercress! It was fabulous value, we were very surprised at the cost and the super quality and taste. I have recommended to friends and will be back.

The food was fantastic so delicious we took our son for his 18th There were lots of people and groups celebrating too. Definitely will go back for another visit We had steaks, scallops,lobster tails and sea bass. The server Alina was very helpful and polite We felt welcomed and not rushed.

Staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, they knew who we were and that it was our special birthday celebration meal. Service was excellent throughout the evening and the Cote du Bouef was superb and we felt good value. Downside was the restaurant was very quiet due to Euros final which had a negative effect on the atmosphere. Also air con was set for a busy restaurant, but as there was hardly anyone in there, the restaurant was a little chilly and our food went cold quite quickly so we left food we may otherwise have got round to eating if still warm enough. Overall an excellent experience we enjoyed very much.

Highest quality pasta made with love A very nice restaurant with a beautiful interior and really great Italian food. The pasta was cooked to perfection and had great flavours. It’s on the higher end so higher prices. The panzzoritini isn’t worth the money, it’s just a pizza pocket. But the pasta is definitely better. Haven’t tried the steak but it’s what they’re known for. The portions are pretty small. Service took quite long. But still a great restaurant that services good food.

If you like calamari you’re in for a treat, piping hot crunchy, tasty:) the risotto is full of flavour and plenty of prawns. Steak is brilliant, cooked to perfection . Will definitely be coming back.

Seb was fabulous, greeted us very professionally and friendly. The food was outstanding. Their freshly baked focaccia was delicious. The pasta dishes are top notch. Full of flavour. Can't wait to visit again.

Welcoming with a quaint atmosphere, located downstairs within the bridge way of bath, I must admit the first time I went I felt it was "too posh" for me to be dining in, they reassured me that they do not boast to be a "posh" restaurant. I went on a quiet weekday during off peak hours so it was practically empty the evenings are busy to be sure. They even offered me to choose the music, I know it sounds pretentious but it's the best steak I have ever had! The peppercorn sauce complimented it perfectly as well as the wine (; I merely just want other people to experience it.

Excellent. Steak was perfect! Mushrooms were so good and the starter was on point. The decor was funky with a great atmosphere, we entered via Argyle Street that made it an experience (corridors & stairs). The staff were really friendly and recommended a lovely ale. Really worth a visit! Highly recommended.

Friendly service and all 4 of us really enjoyed our meals. The scallops were delicious and the sharing platter comes with everything you need.
