Often come for breakfast on my way to work, all staff are always lovely but Kieron is fabulous his customer service was 5* so helpful chatty and bubbly he really brightened up our morning.

THE BAKERS OVEN REVIEWS

The Bakers Oven has been open for decades. It does good old fashioned English based menu items. I love the sausage casserole they do. It is fully tasty. It's got sausage bacon and veg in it and the sauce carrying it is gorgeous too. And here's the very special thing about Bakers Oven... The chips they do here are to die for. God knows how they do it. The chips are just the best in the city centre. I have no doubt about this. I've eaten everywhere and no chips come near Bakers Oven chips. They do great individual pieces of cake they are all fabulous. The crusty rolls they do are also just the best. They are gone before 10.00hrs so you need to be quick to get them. They make everything from scratch on the premises.

You really can't beat a meal deal from bakers oven. Chicken curry, rice and chips with a cake and a can for £6! Staff are always lovely and the food is always spot on!

Best food ever chilli and chips and a sausage, pink slice, food amazing, and the staff a lovely and give generous portions, excellent for the price, go here you do actually get more than you pay for ten stars.

Very helpful staff, bought some wonderfully baked products, made in a way I would call first class. Great and freshly baked stottie cakes, a Cheese and Onion pasty to live for, great flavour smooth and creamy potato with plenty of cheese in the filling. It is a little way from where I live but will be WELL worth a journey back to buy more Many I would certainly recommend this shop for its high 5 standard.

Visited bread basket yesterday for the first time and we are sure it's not going to be the last. We ordered quite a few things the sausage roll, chicken curry rice were amazing. The egg and ham quiche ( on the house!) tasted phenomenal and is definitely a must try for anyone wanting to eat a good quiche. The staff was very kind and pricing is really economical. Definitely a must try place for anyone visiting Ryhope or Sunderland!!!!

Lovely bakery. Top class food. Good variety.good hours and very good staff. Good local shop. Top class bread and buns and savouries.
