Booked our table for 1.30pm, just in case, and so glad we did as it was really busy. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are really friendly. Service was great. Husband is American and struggles to find Chowder on menus here so ordered the Seaham Chowder as soon as he saw it. The photo doesn't do it justice as it was jam packed full of shellfish and fish and the flavour was spot on. I had lasagne which came with a side order of thick cut chips which were amazing just by themselves. Both meals portions were just right too. Safe to say we'll be back again soon.

Excellent customer service from all the staff is understatement!!! It was extremely busy and had to wait but we didn't mind. The foods are sumptuous. And we love the genuine customer care of all the staff to each customers. Good yo see that there are genuine customer service still around like this place.

Really gorgeous food here,especially the starters and mains,desserts ok.Really nice,friendly service and a lovely place.

wanted something different for lunch today so called in at Latimers. We both had crab sandwiches and soup mine was potato and leek and husband went for chowder. They were amazing soup was homemade and of course the crab was fresh and tasty. Definately recommend a visit.

Great shop with a vast amount of different fresh and cooked seafood. Love the Hatch and little cafe they have, do a very good latte.

Great to see that seafood is still alive on the British coast. Fresh seafood in the shop and Cafe. Plates and cutlery would be useful though. Seafood chowder was divine.

Amazing sea food, I had lobster as you don't often get the chance, it was good, we saw dolphins swimming in the bay as well, it was pretty lovely. Staff very accommodating, about what you would expect to pay in a restaurant of this standard. Parking can be difficult to get a space outside so we just go straight to the overflow. I would come again, thank you very much. Really enjoyed it.

My wife and I had the most amazing anniversary lunch here. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and they had all signed a card which was a really nice touch. Fish a chips are the best I have ever had and the views were perfect. Overall all a very classy place, wonderful experience, and excellent food. We will definitely be coming back again. I would highly recommend.

First visit with family. Nice venue, food all fresh and well cooked. The seafood platter was filling and tasty. Good service. Only thing missing on the platter would be a couple of dipping sauces. Will be back again.
