The Sweet Petite is a hidden gem! Their sandwiches are absolutely divine—tasty and generously packed with filling, not to mention the gorgeous bread. The staff are lovely and friendly, and the decor adds to the charming atmosphere. It's a delightful spot to sit outside, especially in sunnier weather. And let's not forget the sweet treats—my partner absolutely loves them! A must-visit for anyone in search of delicious food.

Will definitely come again and bring friends. The decor looks high end so we thought it would be quite pricey so we checked the menu and were pleasantly surprised that the coffees were very reasonable. We were just looking for coffee but once we saw the cake, well that was it! We were really looked after by staff who even put out cushions for us on the outdoor seating. Really recommend. Also, definitely try the keylime pie !

Visited for a Xmas afternoon tea, booked and paid online very easily. The staff were friendly and happy to help. The food was amazing, fresh, well presented and very very tasty. There was refillable tea included and other drinks could be purchased if wanted. There was so much food that we took what was left home in a box. I would highly recommend as one of the nicest afternoon teas I've had!

I ordered 12 assorted cup cakes for my work colleagues and had them delivered to them in Washington Tyne & Wear on my birthday as I work remotely from the business. Always a worry orderering on-line but I shouldn't have worried as my colleagues thought the cakes were lovely and I am sure they will be customers themselves in the future. The cakes were fresh and delivered on time in a nice box and I am told looked just a good as they tasted. Thank you to all at Cakebox Sunderland.

the taste was soo good and delicious i would rate 5 start for the service and the atmosphere over there. iam recommending cake box for those who want to celebrate.

I have bought red velvet cake recently and it was amazing . It was so fresh and melts in my mouth. Would visit again for sure. Would definitely recommend going there .

Really nice cafe with a broad range of cakes I think they also do cakes for birthdays and other celebrations if you ask them in advance. The shop also sells toasties and pastries like steak bake. There are teas coffees and a lot of things like iced tea or iced mocha. The best part is that it's dog friendly and they were really sweet to my dog when he was there. The bringer water and have some treats for the dogs.

I went to this place for the 1st time today, drove past it 100 times, and why have I never been inside??? A hidden gem, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their produce. We were spoilt for choice, sweet and savoury. We had an apple crumble slice and the blueberry/lemon scone, which both were phenomenal, fantastic flavour and surprisingly light; this was washed down with a beautiful coffee. Very reasonably priced also.

Went today for the first time (and definitely not our last). We each had a goats cheese toastie and an energy smoothie, followed by sharing a piece of tiramisu cake. All were excellent (especially loved the smoothie). The cafe was very clean and tidy. The staff friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend a visit.
