We came as a large group, which I appreciate can be difficult to accommodate. The food was, as always, very nice and extremely well cooked. The only thing that was frustrating was trying to get staff attention for drinks. Then, when we did, they forgot one and brought it, once all the food was finished. In fairness to them, they did take it off the bill, which is why I have still given them 5 stars. Within our party, most people had steak, all of which were perfectly cooked. One person had chargrilled chicken and smashed potatoes and really enjoyed that, another had fish and chips, which they too really enjoyed and one had a steak sandwich. The starters were also really well received. We had baked chedder mushrooms and sticky Chipotle chicken.

Food was unreal we got the Butchers Block!! Very good Gluten Free options. Our server Lexi was amazing and hadn’t been working there for very long.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT ???????? From the second we walked in there , honestly, I felt like we were treat like VIP guests… the whole experience was amazing! Each & every member of staff were the high of impeccable, exceptional actually, so very polite & pleasant, so friendly and upbeat , felt like Florida waiter service served in Sunderland and the food ,, oh my goodness, probably one of the best meal out treats we’ve ever had ! The ultimate chicken burger was incredible, the Mac & cheese Devine , and my partner’s steak was the nicest he’s ever had , honestly again just a perfect evening!! Thankyou so very much Miller & Carter , we cannot wait to return.

Me and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here today. I had the steak & ale pie, which was a deep dish filled with a generous amount of steak topped with puff pastry & served with homemade chunky chips & mushy peas. My daughter ordered the mince & dumplings which she asked to be served with chips, it was served with mash potato, we politely pointed this out to a member of staff which was quickly put right. All in all... Great food & great service.

Tried the ultimate stack burger, was really nice. 2 decent chargrilled patties, pulled bbq pork and a couple of chicken goujons. Served with homemade chunky chips, banging food, well worth a visit.

I booked a table a little last minute, for a group of 10 adults, on a Monday night, they managed to squeeze us in, it was quite busy that night.l, but we got parked outside the door easily, the food and service were both excellent, with a couple of beers, and paid £25, i think the price was more than fair. I had the mixed spicey sizzler and it was very tasty and presented well. I would deffo return and recommend highly.

We visited on Sunday with our family, as it was a special day we expected the restaurant to be busy and there might be a little wait. We appreciated the beautiful food, cooked fresh to order, absolutely beautiful! The best we have had, even my fussy kids loved it and were amazed by the presentation. The staff couldn’t do enough for us even though it was a busy day We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Interior, warm atmosphere, great vibes, staff customer service outstanding from the 2 girls who attended to us. Food was delicious I shared the 2 person steak and seafood, massive portions, fillet steak best ive had and lobster / seafood devine will definitely be returning highly recommended. We attended for brother in laws birthday last Fri and made the night extra special for us. Thank you also parking around back.

Came here Friday afternoon with hubby and couldn't decide what to have because everything on the menu sounds delicious. We were brought over a seafood sharing platter complimentary while we were trying to decide what to order. Waitress was so friendly and attentive. Lovely quirky decor and comfy seats. We opted for the 2 course lunch special each which was tandoori tiger prawn bruschetta starter and I had the seafood paella and hubby had steak bao buns. Portions were huge and so tasty. I couldn't count the amount of prawns and mussels I had as there was so many. I even had a crab claw so if you like your seafood, this is the place for you. This was our first visit here despite wanting to try it for ages. So glad we did. Highly recommended here to others and we will definitely be returning very soon. Thank you for having us xx.
