Comfy bed, room was clean and good decor. TV, fridge, microwave, en-suite. Friendly service. Its facing the beach and a few doors along from the Roker Hotel. We had a lovely breakfast at the Bungalow cafe. No photos this time as the weather was wet and a little foggy. It was still an interesting walk along the beach.

I can only say to anyone who wants a clean friendly place to stay this is the place to book. Darren the owner is polite down to errands and nothing is a bother. The location is fabulous and the rooms are spotless comfortable and welcoming. I would recommend staying here 100 % it’s brilliant.

I have stayed in this hotel for three days and I like the hotel very much. My experience was really great.

My home away from home. Stylish vintage building. Absolutely love Diana and Tony, the owners and Irene chambermaid. Free DIY breakfast and a cooker at your disposal. Amazing views of the harbour and the 5 star Knowledge Restaurant downstairs (closed on Tuesdays). Highly recommended.

Food was delicious, service excellent, views fantastic, staff friendly and professional. My compliments to the chef and all who work there for a thoroughly enjoyable evening in the restaurant and bar. They even ordered our taxi for us at the end of the evening. Well done. I will be returning.

Absolutely lovely little place. Help yourself breakfast in the well equipped shared kitchen with terrace overlooking the river was a real bonus. Our room was very spacious, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.

PREMIER INN SUNDERLAND CITY CENTRE HOTEL REVIEWS

Stayed in a family room when we were visiting to see a show. The location was excellent and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and everything you would expect from a Premier Inn. Breakfast appeared to be freshly made - smaller hot plates meant that fresh food was cooked regularly.

Warm friendly staff clean rooms excellent food a very enjoyable stay will definitely go back there I had read previous reviews seem to be a lot of controversy over the car parking. I did not find this a problem. I knew what I had to pay. No problem not worth complaining about. I was in the city centre hotel car park is a premium.

The service, in particular from Stacey at breakfast, was exceptional client care. From using my name, being present without intrusive - this is a reason to use Premier Inn rather than alternatives. Thank you and well done Sunderland team.
