The centre features Pure Strength machines, Cable Cross-Overs, Olympic lifting platforms, Watt Bikes, Power Plates, their unique Octane machines, and OMNIA training stations. They have a 50-meter Olympic pool that can be divided into two separate 25-meter pools. Sunderland Aquatic Centre can also burn off that extra energy in their fantastic, fun, soft play area.”

SUNDERLAND AQUATIC CENTRE REVIEWS

Brilliant lane swimming slow medium n fast, also accommodated for family swimming with floating obstacle courses n more family swimming in the shallow end. Great all round entertainment for all walks of life in one huge Olympicsize pool! Excellent n the staff are so helpful.

Great staff and very helpful, as a disabled person they are always very supportive and attentive.

Love the group classes, such a friendly gym, great, no matter what your age.

Had a birthday party today in the big hall. I would highly recommend it to anyone we have had a fab day. The lads who set it all up worked tirelessly to make sure everything went well and they did a great job, credit to the company. Definitely return here for my next party. Thank you.

Great football centre for youngsters leagues, everything well organised. Brilliant to see so many boys and girls enjoying football and their coaches giving up their valuable time to supervise and encourage them.

Very large good venue the kids play area is well maintained.

They very kindly host Blood donating sessions which really helps a lot of ppl as a lot of venues are much further afield. This venue is a great location & they are very helpful & friendly. There are multiple disabled bays which are right at the front door & makes attending there a lot easier than many other places.

Excellent gym ,swimming pool, football pitches and sports hall. Fabulous cafe with great choices of drinks and food very reasonable price.

This sports centre is great except that the floor of the sports hall should be swept before the roller skaters come in.
