Booked a table as we'd heard it gets busy, & it's a small venue. Main reason for meal was that they have rabbit on the menu, and that's a rare dish these days. Had 2 courses. Stuffed lamb belly for starter. Hake fillet and rabbit for mains. Was given table water, and some homemade bread with a carrot & creme fraiche spread to start. Finished with coffee and was given 2 chocolate truffles & 2 whisky jellies. All the food was delicious and the service was excellent.

First time at this restaurant tonight and I could not fault it, don't regret it and will definitely recommend it. The food was incredible, i had pigeon, venison and dark chocolate desert, hubby had scallops, steak and white choc ganache. The staff were attentive without harassment and nothing was too much bother. Thank you for a lovely anniversary meal tonight. Both me and my husband loved our visit.

Outstanding food. Excellent service. More-than-fair pricing, considering quality, preparation and presentation. Highly recommend!

DEANS RESTAURANT REVIEWS

Deans is one of our favourite restaurants, it isn't close so it tends to be special occasions we travel through for and the food is always exceptional. They always have options to cater for dietary requirements and the children's menu is brilliant. We hope they find new premises with the end of their lease fast approaching as it would be a great loss to Perth without it. Dietary restrictions: Always happy to amend items on the menu to ensure they suit our dietary requirements. Kid-friendliness: Staff are great with the kids and provide colouring items. The kids always love the food, especially the fruit and sorbet starter.

First time visit, using an itison voucher, and it was more than worth the trip to Perth. The venue is lovely, warm and stylish. Service was first class and the food was spectacular. The normal tasting menus look great value for money and they offer a kids version, so we’ll definitely travel back to visit again.

Absolutely fabulous meal here last night. The scallops starter was amazing (see photo) and the venison was so tender it literally melted in your mouth. Loved the black pudding balls. Everything was just perfect. Best meal I've had in years. Will definitely be going back.

As a family, this was the first year we ventured out to enjoy our Christmas Dinner. We already enjoy regular meals at The Glover Arms and the Christmas Day Menu was one of the best we had seen, so we booked a table! There was a fab choice of food on the menu and even a kids menu too for our 3 young boys who joined us. The food was sensational and the portion sizes made sure we left full to the brim. From the soup to the desserts, Chris the Chef did an outstanding job! I’m still hearing about the amazing Trio of Desserts from my husband! Emma looked after our table and always made sure we had everything we needed. From ordering drinks to bringing out the food, to checking on us, everything again was perfect! We had a perfect Christmas Dinner at the Glover Arms because of Niall and his team who worked very hard on Christmas Day! I would 100% recommend for a meal any time of the year, but especially Christmas! Thank you Glover Arms!

Simply beautiful food, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. I highly recommend the lasagna and the hunters chicken as they are the best I've had in Scotland since moving here. Don't be afraid to dive into there expertly prepared deserts that will leave you wishing you had room for more.
