“The Cherry House At Werrington is a 400-year-old thatched cottage restaurant offering fine British cuisine with a French flair. Andrew Corrick is the Head Chef of this restaurant. They still use locally sourced ingredients and ethically sourced fish. The menu evolves regularly, with the Table d'hôte changing every two weeks and the Sunday lunch menu updating monthly. Their team offers something for serious food lovers, for those romantic evenings, corporate entertaining, and those just enjoying fine, fresh food prepared with care and attention to detail. 2025 Update: The Cherry House At Werrington is a peaceful village restaurant, just 3.5 miles from the city centre. It offers outdoor seating and a cosy fireplace.”

The quality of the food really surprised me. The service was really, really good especially considering how busy it was. There's loads of choice for vegetarians and children. Bottomless serve your own drinks are a massive bonus! The desserts are delicious. The prices are super reasonable. Perfect for for a cheeky mid-week roast.

We had a wonderful experience at Toby Carvery. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. A special mention goes to Mario, who provided outstanding service and offered great advice on how to save money during our visit. The ambience was also fantastic, making our time there even more enjoyable.

ARGO LOUNGE REVIEWS

We came in at 5pm and were pleasantly surprised by the offer where with every main they include a free desert or an alcoholic beverage. We weren’t expecting much at first as it is a chain but we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming and bubbly staff members who actually kept up a conversation with us. That’s a rare trait. The food was also amazing, everything came out within 15/20 minutes of ordering and it was all piping hot and fresh. We will be coming back.

Excellent bar, cafe and restaurant in the centre of Peterborough. Part of the Lounges group which have an industrial decor and friendly staff. Excellent food plus vegan and gluten free menus. Good coffee and beer. Make sure you read what you get with the meal as you may want to add some extras. Good value for money.

As usual with the lounges across the UK, this place doesn't disappoint. Lovely staff, setting & food. Affordable prices too.

This place is special! It's a quiet little thatched cottage just off the seemingly quiet main road. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the servers are extremely attentive. Oh the chef, he definitely knows his kitchen. His food is absolutely fantastic. It's the 1st time the 3 of us have been. We each ordered a different dish for each of our 3 courses, and it's was worth every penny and will most certainly be going back again very soon. Dietary restrictions: The food is cooked fresh to requests for the most part, so if you need to make a request, I can see it being an issue Parking: Parking on the front and back carpark is available Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps at the entrances.

Lovely restaurant. I hesitate to use the description ‘old fashioned’ as it has negative connotations, but I use the term in its most positive way. Outstanding service, excellent choice of fixed menu, traditional setting, and wonderful food. We had a lovely evening here surrounded by a great atmosphere.
