Really pleased with my evening here, first up and most importantly the food was all top quality so no complaints, the smoked chicken was one of the best I've ever had! Restaurant itself was clean and well presented, staff friendly and welcoming. We spent £25 per head which included drinks so a great price too. Would go again and would recommend, thank you guys!

By far the best Chinese anywhere. All you can eat course by course, freshly cooked and served by friendly staff. You can also choose from the standard menu, but the all-you-can-eat is far better value. For 2 of us, 3 courses with 2 pints of Pepsi each come to £49 on a weekend. (Slightly cheaper on week days) also you can have 2 courses which is cheaper.

Staff are always very welcoming and remember you from your last visit. Food is lovely and service is fantastic. Love the warm sauce with the crackers and they don't skimp on the food portions.

1st visit here and absolutley loved it. Service was great the menu was well explained. We had the set menu such a good selection and just enough of each portion. Very efecient and not much waiting between each course. Great value for money.

When we arrived we were told it was a set menu evening only and we thought “bummer”. Set menu was great, for once a restaurant actually served all the “good” bits in it. From the ribs to sweet and sour chicken to bean sauce beef to crispy duck. The set menu had it all. Everything was fresh, flavours were very nice. Some things on greasy side but well within expectations and definitely not over the top. The price was very reasonable too. Not sure when we will be back in Peterborough but when we will, we will come back to The Grain Barge for sure. A+

One of the best service I had. Food was nice and hot. Lady who served me, Jurga was very professional, very positive, helped me with a choice, definitely will come back soon.

I regularly go to the chopsticks in stanstead services, one cause it’s near to my home second cause it’s halal… but me and mY wife came to the Peterborough services and were greeted by the loveliest staff here. Sue, nishat, and Sara….they are an asset to this services so kind. Thanks guys.
