This review relates mostly to my experience with the bike shop and the mountain bike trails. Firstly the bike shop is seriously well stocked with everything that you could possibly need for a day or on the trails, including in my case a charging cable for the Bosch battery on my e bike. The staff could not have been more helpful. The trails are simply awesome. I combined the red and black routes for a distance of approximately 19 miles most of which is single track. As a solo rider a better mobile signal would have been welcome as for much of this remote ride I was out of range of a descent signal which could have been a problem if something had gone wrong. Watch out for the granite slabs on the Black route. Black in Scotland really does mean black.

We have visited the cafe on numerous occasions and the food is always great. We love breakfast the most as it is a simple no thrills feast. Scottish produce, lorne sausage, haggis and potato scone. Gorgeous! Simple kids options including sandwich for brekkie and a great kids lunchbox option for afternoon walks. We love this place and always plan a visit for our weeks holiday. Staff are always friendly and they do a great oat latte for inside or takeaway!

What a lovely place to visit with our dog. Lots of walks for different levels of fitness. Lots to see. Trails well signposted. Very nice cafe and toilets near the car park. Food service fast. Food very good. Definitely worth a visit

10/10 Absolutely amazing, went in with my son for breakfast and was served by Emily, she was perfect great service with a lovely smile and very helpful. I had the wrap and my son had the waffles and she was very accommodating to his preferences. Food came out in good time and was spot on really enjoyed it I literally can't fault it. It will be a place we go every time we are in Dumfries from now on. Thank you.

Lovely little place. Excellent menu. Poorly executed Ham & cheese croissant (dry and hard after warming) but everything else was very good. Wish we'd found it sooner to try more of the very good menu.

A beautiful place. Set like a designer airport restaurant with competitive prices and tasty food. Exhausting choice of bakery. Good quantity and quality of breakfast. Smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Bread was superb. Could add some optional salad as it goes well with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

Best most accessible coffee shop I've taken my mum as wheelchair access is a must for lunch. Toasties where awsum, Mum said to put it's the best cup of coffee she has had out in a long time. Even the plates where warm intentional or not was a nice touch. Definitely will be a regular food pit stop

Popped in to get out of the rain. Had a small menu, but has plenty of options for everyone, and I can recommend the Avocado on sourdough with bacon. Can also recommend the coffee. Service was fast, friendly and personable.

Staff are so nice here they gave my daughter am extra bread roll. Lovely food the goats cheese sour dough to die for.
