Very nice food, will return! But as a large party, half of us nearly finished our mains while the others still waited. One in the party also found the food to their distaste, the manager offered to take 50% off dish price to compensate. Very good authentic Chinese food. Also cater to allergies.

Turned up on a busy Sunday afternoon with no booking. Site was busy but the host was friendly and seated us straight away with no bother. Dim sum selection was great, food came out hot and fresh. Char siu was the star of the show few pictures of what came out first before we stuffed our faces.

Very nice old style traditional dim sum. Speedy service and friendly staff. Reasonable prices for the great quality and generous portion.

RIVERSIDE CANTONESE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

My family LOVE the Riverside! The food is consistently excellent. One big request - PLEEEASE get some acoustic panels (or similar) to dampen the sound. My family are always reluctant to go because it feels like sitting in an echo chamber. The sound is so loud and harsh, everyone’s shouting to hear each other. We leave feeling well fed, but otherwise exhausted.

We went for a meal for two, we were disappointed that they didn’t do dim sum anymore but we ordered Cantonese roast chicken, Monk fish in ginger and garlic, Choi Sum in garlic and oyster sauce, crispy scallops, and Yangzhou rice. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delicious. We will be coming back to try the other dishes.

Excellent food, good service, serves the rare Baijiu Chinese spirit, very strong! It's only drawback it's noise as there are no soft furnishings to absorb sound, happy place, happy days.

Very nice place where you can have different choices of food. The prices are ok knowing that we are in the middle of Cardiff. You can sit inside or outside ( there are 2 little tables outside ) the staff is very friendly and nice. We will eat here again.

I came for food with my mom to Chopsticks. We were greeted by staff at the entrance. We ordered 2 large boxes. It was a selection of options you could chose as a toppings and portions were massive and so tasty. The staff was friendly. I definitely will be coming back for food.

This place is awesome. I love the atmosphere. Its so pretty. The food is amazing. But I didn't like the BBQ chicken. I absolutely loved the salt and pepper chicken. It's so good. The service is also amazing.
