What a great coffee shop in the heart of Cardiff. I found this place because of Google and so glad I did. I would go as far to say the best looking coffee shop I have ever seen. Really unique decor. Breakfast was a whopping £16.49 which is quite expensive for an English breakfast but it did taste really good. Follow this up with a latte and I was a happy chappy. Staff were really great and friendly. Such a great atmosphere and ambience. I will definitely be back!!!

Great coffee shop, quick service, fabulous coffee and the sausage and egg door step sandwich for breakfast was enough to keep me going all day. Would recommend.

Amazingly decorated little coffee shop. Variety of seating arrangements was highly welcome. The leather sofas were a delight. On the expensive side but worth it.

Tucked away in the heart of Cardiff, Uncommon Ground is one of those rare finds that gets everything right. The coffee is exceptional—clearly roasted and brewed with care—and there’s real passion behind every cup. The team are welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic, which adds to the warm, relaxed vibe of the place. Their menu is surprisingly varied for a coffee roastery, offering a thoughtful mix of classics and creative options, all delivered with quality and consistency. Whether you’re in for a quick espresso or a leisurely brunch, this place delivers on all fronts.

This independent coffee shop was delightful. The flat white incredibly smooth with a thick espresso crema and a rich aftertaste - nicely balanced with the foamed milk. I had this accompanied with a sticky bun which had a cinnamon and mild orange infusion-like taste. The decor is unique, with a vintage theme and clean cut design.

Excellent coffee and delicious cake (chocolate banana bread and jammie dodger blondie) served up by friendly folks in a welcoming location. Highly recommended for a short stop to rest up before browsing the arcade!

Really like this place. The coffee is great and I have had food a couple of times, which has also been delicious. Staff are really friendly. Coffee is roasted in the house so they know what they are doing.

Love the baguettes here! The staff are always really friendly and welcoming. It's really cosy inside and they have a good mix of outdoor seating for sunny days!

What a great place clean, friendly staff, great coffee far better than others ,well worth a visit and buy the coffee to take home and enjoy
