Great spot for late night eats. we googled reviews on where to eat late night in Cardiff, this is the first place that popped up after 11 PM. It did not disappoint. There’s a very manageable lineup outside, and you get your order in, in under 10 minutes. We were here with our kids. Our youngest had the sausage and chips , our teenager had the chicken curry and chips, my wife and I split a cod in a box - which was a very large, serving of freshly fried cod, with chips, and mushy peas. We decided to eat in. The dine in spot is very basic. But the food was very good, especially for the price. The staff were very hospitable, knowledgable about allergies, and accommodated us in, and explain a little bit about the 70 year history of the restaurant - especially Tanya. She was so great at taking care of us, checking in on if we needed anything, and making sure the food was good. Highly recommended. Great spot! Great people.

Dorothy’s on Caroline Street was my go to place for Chicken Curry & Chips on a Saturday night in Cardiff for years. The best.

We had Spanish students (9 & 10 year olds) visiting Cardiff and they wanted to try fish & chips. We took them to Dorothy's and they weren't disappointed. The children shared a large fish & chips each which was enough for them. They started eating and they all went silent for 2 minutes! They loved the fish and chips and so did we, cooked fresh as we ordered. The staff were super helpful and kind, they offered us to sit down put together all the tables and chairs, sauces that the children needed and gave them extra boxes to share their food in. Definitely go here again for the food and the kindness of staff.

Ordered a delicious large doner kebab with BBQ sauce. Very generous portions of tasty meat. Fast and efficient delivery service too. Will definitely order again.

Had a fish and chips meal in here tonight and I have to say it's the nicest fish and chips I have ever had...big portions, the batter on the fish was crispy and fish flaky and really fresh..can't wait to visit again..thank you.

Had the crispyiest whitest cod chips and curry sauce was delicious I recomend it 5 star fish look forward to nxt time.

Absolutely superb quality of the fish, the battered sausages and chips. Friendly staff who make all the difference. Easily the best in the area and value for money.
