The food was amazing as always, but the service from Lara really made our evening! She was so helpful, suggesting cocktails when the one we wanted wasn’t available and was so chatty and friendly. Even recognised us from a previous visit! A credit to the team.

The food was tasty and filling (I had the chilli chicken ramen) and it was a good meal to finish the day off. The service was lovely and professional and I felt taken care of during my time there.

Reliable and quick service - especially on busy lunch rushes. Servers always helpful and friendly. Food is delicious! Some of the dishes could do with a little tweak to the portion sizing - some more rice with the specials or bulk out with crunchy salad would be good. Overall, a reliable regular lunch stop when in the office.

My family and I visited this Asian restaurant in Cardiff Bay the day we picked up our son from university. We enjoyed a quick lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the food was good. We were pleased to find plenty of space and no need for a reservation. The service was prompt and efficient. Located in a central part of Cardiff, this restaurant offers an excellent opportunity to explore the city on foot. It's a convenient and reasonably priced spot for a quick bite if you visit Cardiff's beautiful city.

The sushi here is impeccable. You definitely get what you pay for. It’s fresh, fast and well served. We regularly dine in here, and have also popped in to take away on the fly too! It’s very close to lots of others bars and the Everyman Cinema, which is handy. Parking: Mermaid Quay parking lot is very close by.

Cracking find was seated straight away keen staff food was very nice indeed what more could you want and low level 80's music bit strange but different.

MATSUDAI RAMEN REVIEWS

The food was absolutely delicious, and could rival the best Ramen restaurants in London. The service was extremely fast and we could not have been more satisfied! The Buta No Kukai (glazed pork belly) is probably the best pork we’ve ever had - must try!

Wonderful bowl of Tantanmen, I opted to add pork belly which very tasty as well. Great broth and spice balance, noodles cooked perfectly, finished every last drop.

Excellent food. Broth was light but still have a lot of flavour and taste. Egg was perfect along with both the chicken and pork belly. If your in Cardiff this is definitely a place worth visiting.
