“Northampton Cathedral has been a place of prayer and worship for over 150 years. The church serves as a sacred place where people gather to understand the idea and importance of faith and glory towards God. The church is set in a calm and relaxing environment that attracts people, even from neighbouring communities, for prayers, worship, and masses. Northampton Cathedral faced many renovations and expansions due to natural and human-made disasters. The church has beautiful gardens and grounds, which remain a hidden secret. The church also has two organs, which were built in 1976. Northampton Cathedral choir continues to use the organs for music during worship services and other events. The church is the seat of the Bishop of Northampton and the mother church of the Diocese of Northampton, which covers the counties of Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and part of Berkshire north of the River Thames.”
