COTE BRASSERIE ST ALBANS REVIEWS

We had a lovely evening. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we were greeted warmly and the anniversary was mentioned. We then were given a complimentary glass of fizz. The food was superb but most of all, our waiter was just brilliant. Friendly, warm, just right with the level of interaction. Really well done to him and to the overall team.

Excellent service with good choice of quality food and wines. We had the Ratatouille and Joules Frites which were very good and recommend the cheese board to finish. Great location in the heart of the city. Highly recommended.

Classic spot, one of the better French Toasts in the UK. Kept simple as it should but delicious. Cant get enough of the Breton Stew either. Reasonable priced so a regular spot.

I don't give five stars lightly but this place deserved it. Chef run and food made with real expertise. I'm not a wine drinker but this was excellent wine. Ham croquettes starter was excellent. Amazing salsa versa. Suck breast for main, also cooked to perfection. Excellent roast potatoes and chunky bacon knobs. Cheese for dessert. A fine selection, not quite warmed enough but hey, we were the only people dining so it's forgiveable. Was expensive but was worth it. We will return.

A lovely place, very welcoming. The atmosphere is so beautiful, cosy and unique. The lady is so nice and friendly and the Chef is incredibly good. We definitely will go back to Le Moulin for another special night.

A fabulous little venue with a first class personal service. A super atmosphere with such an interesting kitchen makes a magic evening out. Book ahead!

We don’t order curry from anywhere else. The consistent high standards in all Chez Mumtaj do are so refreshing. The food is fabulous and soooo tasty. They’re either quick when want asap or on time when specified. The orders are never wrong too. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant soon.

Food is stunningly good. Incredible and really unique flavours. Very spacious restaurant and friendly staff. Irish coffee was excellent, too.

Very good food and care and attention from the courteous waiters. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. All was excellent. Subhan’Allah.
