The best looking Wetherspoons I have been to. The usual good beers and decent food. Worth a visit and a drink just to see the place. it is located just behind the main high street.

We visited Ye Olde Fighting Cocks Pub for the first time in August as a family, and every one of us absolutely loved it. As soon as you step into this wonderfully old building, you're transported back to a different era. The atmosphere is captivating, and the authentic pub ambiance is thoroughly enjoyable. We ordered food and drinks, which were good, but what stood out by far was the incredible chips (not fries). They were perfectly fried—crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. Exactly how you imagine perfect chips should be. The icing on the cake was the friendly service that just rounded up this very pleasant experience. If you haven’t been there, you should definitely give it a go. And if you have, then you’re probably going again. I know we will.

My local. Love it. Good food, amazing pizzas and a good selection of wines and fizz for the ladies. Dogs welcome and really made to feel welcome too. Lovely professional young staff who know their stuff and if they don't they'll bend over backwards to make sure they solve the problem. Also location is obviously fantastic just please get new benches for outside as so many glasses have been smashed where the tables are uneven.
