It’s been a while since our last visit, at the time it wasn’t great. Some years later and today we returned for lunch and we were to be pleasantly surprised. Fantastic food, excellent staff, our waiter Luke couldn’t do enough for us and even included a Birthday treat. All in all a fantastic experience with delicious food and good sized lunch time portions. Thank you.

We had a family meal here to celebrate our wedding a couple of weeks ago. From the moment of booking the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. One of our family members has difficulty hearing but we were sat in a nice quieter area downstairs so that she could feel included. The set menu was absolutely outstanding, delicious food and very good portion sizes! The staff also did the perfect level of checking on us enough to feel well looked after (but not where it’s too much) and were super friendly / chatty too. They even took a bottle of wine off the bill as a gift! We will definitely be returning and recommending to others. Thank you.

I picked this place on a whim to take my partner out for a nice meal and I'm very glad I did! Although a bit pricey they definitely make up for it in taste and service! Maja was attentive and very nice and all of the food we ordered was so tasty! Thank you very much for a very nice meal.

The venue was very well presented and the seating felt far enough apart from the next table. The decor lovely throughout. Lucie who served us was amazing. Very friendly and helpful throughout. She was very sociable and smiled lots. We ate the steak and cocktail deal that evening, which was LOVELY. £20.00 for steak side and a choice of cocktail. The whole meal was fantastic and the time from order to arrival was just right.

Everything was outstanding, with a fantastic atmosphere and an enjoyable evening. The steak platter for two was sublime, featuring top-notch quality meat cooked flawlessly—truly the best I've experienced in the UK. The pricing was fair, and I would certainly visit again! If you're a fan of steak, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Absolutely wonderful. The steak was perfect, the chicken was perfect, the puds were delicious. Service was excellent. Had the fixed lunch menu, great value for money. Would definitely recommend and yes will definitely be visiting again. Nothing negative at all.

Amazing building, staff are very helpful and hardworking. Good quality food especially the steak. Been here many times over the past 10 years. Thank you. Sam and Betty the little white assistance dog! It's a shame the old chap who maintained the water wheel turning is no longer with us as the wheel no longer turns.

Lovely place nice and quiet Lovely meal staff were so polite and would make sure everything was OK going back very soon. As you can see with my pictures the mill workings is incorporated in to the bar and some of the dining room brilliant.

Stopped off for a delicious breakfast. Superb value for money. Friendly service. Clean and spacious. There are plenty of available car park spaces. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.
