THE COOK'S TALE RESTAURANT REVIEWS

We tried The Cook’s Tale yesterday for the Sunday lunch. WOW it was absolutely delicious. We had the shared chicken and the single lamb dish and shared between 4 and there was plenty. Spice was just right. Dev the chef presented us with our dinner and we were able to chat with him which was a nice touch. Complimentary pea and artichoke soup with naan bread and we asked to the chocolate deserts to take home. I will definitely be returning next time I am in the area. Thank you.

Wonderful night celebrating my partners birthday. 12 course (ended up being 15) tasting menu with generous measures of paired wines. Hosted and served by Head chef himself, Dev, and his passionate team. Lovely atmosphere with well known songs played by an excellent pianist!

Had a great time from start to finish. Six course tasting menu with matching wines.. would recommend to anyone. Just start early as you want to take your time and enjoy yourselves.

Outstanding service and great food! Highly recommend! The owner/manager took the time to explain to us the different dishes and was very thoughtful and patient. One of the best service experiences I‘ve had in a long long time. The training the staff seems to go through is excellent and very personal.

Enjoyed a lovely ancient raj dinner this evening for my mothers birthday. Service was lovely and food was equally as delicious. Especially enjoyed my lamb gosht which tasted of a lovely fresh coriander and mint combination.

This place has excellent service. Waiters were really kind and they even came out to hold the door for us when we left. The food was mostly very good although the korma was a bit watery. Saag was fantastic. Would come back.

A wonderful gem of a restaurant that is perfect for a sumptuous lunch or dinner if you prefer Indian curries! The guys are very polite and amazing when it came to food quality and timeliness. This is my go to place whenever I am in the area for great food and relaxing atmosphere! Five stars.

My absolute favorite Indian restaurant. We order from there almost every week, and it's always fantastic! The food is consistently delicious and served hot. The staff and owner are really friendly and welcoming too!

Awesome food, tasty and delicious. The mango chutney and beetroot chutney are my favourites here. Tandoori was first class.
