The food and atmosphere was excellent! Decided to splurge a little to try the grilled lobster half and it didn’t disappoint at all. It was so fresh and delicious! Paired well with the white wine. The oysters were very fresh and amazing with Tabasco sauce. Service was good but I’m only giving 4 stars because the staffs were not very proactive to welcome me upon arrival. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon slightly after 12:00pm when the restaurant had only 20% customers. Highly recommend to come before 12:30pm on a weekend because the restaurant was completely full by 1:00pm. Indoor and outdoor dining had good atmosphere. Worth a visit.

some of the most delicious oysters i’ve ever had! juicy and large even tho not prime season. the fish is also so fresh, and there are gluten free options available too. the lobster and shrimp roll was also a showstopper, loaded and delectable! reasonable prices for the quality you’re getting. also amazing views and breeze to be right on the water. seating was fast and ordering was easy via qr but you could go up to ask any questions without worry and everyone was accommodating. great vibes.

Easily the best fish and chips Ive had. Os delicious! Highly recommend. Staff was great as well! Arrived moments after they opened, and was quickly served.

It was my first time having oysters and my first time in Whitstable. Wanted to go here since they seem to be the experts with oysters and I was not wrong. Seemed like the oysters were farmed fresh from the front of the restaurant. The oyster shoot was very interesting and I enjoyed the fresh oysters. The fish and chips portions were pretty hefty.

Had a lovely meal with my son recently. This was his first time trying oysters so we ordered a few different starters as tapas instead of a main. Absolutely delicious and had a lovely waiter who made us feel very welcome.

Beautifully prepared meal. Can't much more local than the oyster beds in front of the restaurant. Fish was done with delicate sauces to highlight the freshness of the fish. Staff were great. Any table in the house, wait if you have to. It's worth it.

Very nice seafood restaurant in the centre of Whitstable. It's worth booking as they just managed to squeeze us in. We had mussels followed by the bacon wrapped steak, both of which were delicious. Beer is unfortunately only in bottles but that's a minor gripe, but something on tap would have been preferable.

Came to Whitstable for a day trip from London and found this dog friendly restaurant by chance and absolutely loved it!! The staff were welcoming(even though we jumped in just before closing for lunch time) , friendly and efficient. Had Fresh oysters, Prawn bisque for starter, Hake with tarragon sauce, Fish pie in puff pastry for main, Chocolate mousse and Normandy apple pancake for dessert and all of them were so delicious! Also the pricing is very reasonable. Would love to come back to Whitstable just for this restaurant again soon.

Lovely little French restaurant, good service, and excellent set lunch menu. The atmosphere is light and unstuffy, overall a thoroughly pleasant lunch venue that I would use again if in Whitstable. The oysters Rockefeller are very good for anyone wanting a gentle intro to oysters. You can always ask for a single fresh oyster and they will prep one for you to try. Really good little place.
