The restaurant is situated in beautiful old buildings within Royal William Yard near the marina, with an outstanding sound view. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy, decorated, and modern. The staff is incredibly kind and extremely knowledgeable about food and sake offerings. Customers can enjoy their chicken firecracker, Chicken Katsu curry, beef steamed buns, and chicken gyoza on the side. They serve great cocktails and vegan dishes and have an outdoor seating facility.

“Yukisan is a traditional restaurant with three dining rooms and a sushi, tempura, and grilled meat menu. The restaurant is located in the regenerated Barbican area of Plymouth, with its winding cobbled streets. There are three distinct dining areas: two spacious oriental dining rooms and a Japanese room furnished with traditional Japanese cushioned seats on the floor level. Their style dishes have been specially designed and prepared by their trained chefs. Try a set meal to get the perfect introduction to Japanese food. You can choose sushi, yakitori, tempura, lobster, steak, fish, and sashimi on their menu. Yukisan also has cocktails and sake, as well as beer and wine.

my partner and i popped in yesterday afternoon for some dinner and our server was Imogen! They were the most loveliest, kindest and attentive person! They made sure we had everything we needed and really helped when we stuck on whether something was spicy or not. Please give all our love to Imogen! Fantastic visit, and we will be back soon <3.

Delicious food brought out to us almost immediately, seated at a lovely table looking out on the marina. Excellent service from all staff members, particularly Alyssa who was extremely attentive and friendly, even giving us superb recommendations on both food and drinks. Would highly recommend popping in for a filling meal at a very reasonable price!

Had a fantastic time, food as ever was amazing. But I have say the food was out staged by the level of customer service display by our server Nathan. Great attitude and extremely accommodation. Also would like to thank the cook for working our dietary issues. Great work guys, keep it up.

YUKISAN REVIEWS

Came in for a special meal with my partner - very accommodating staff as we weren't sure if we wanted to sit in the upstairs restaurant, but they let us move around. Very attentive staff with great recommendations, the food was wonderful and beautiful. Very clean and the toilets were spotless! We will definitely be visiting again.

Food was so delicious, we tried Katsu Curry, sushi and tempura mixed. Portion sizes are decent, the service is good, lovely atmosphere with Japanese music playing on the background. Would have like to try eating traditionally but the upstairs Japanese room was shut.

The best of the best when it comes to food. Not overpriced for portions, the meals are beautifully made with great taste. And the staff and atmosphere make you feel like you took a trip to Japan. All the family I took with me say that it's a 10/10, excellent place.

A small cozy place, very nice service, we waited a bit but it was worth it, we really liked everything, I can't compare the flavors because it was our first time in this place and the first time I tried Japanese cuisine, after all it was tasty... I don't know about other dishes but I will definitely come back to try in the future. Thank you

Lovely little restaurant, friendly staff and welcomed by the chef. Great selection of food that was delivered quite quickly, all served up fresh. Not many tables so book to avoid disappointment, will definitely be visiting again next time I am in Plymouth.

Loved this place, it's small but that's what makes it good. Food was excellent and a very friendly place. I will return
