3 Best Seafood Restaurants in Plymouth, UK

First time visiting and not disappointed. The location is amazing with great views over the harbour. Brought back childhood memories as this used to be Plymouth fish market. We visited for lunch and it was vibrant but not too busy and there was no wait to be seated. Staff were excellent and very friendly. We had 3 in total during are meal and all were top notch Service was fast, the food excellent and really tasty and portions were good. The kitchen is visible from the table which was nice. Nice selection of drinks and cocktails too, the local cider was excellent. This was a great treat on our holiday and highly recommend.

Lovely place with a lovely view of the harbour. Really friendly staff who were quick to see to us. They were also chatty to us about why we were in the area and even gave some recommendations of where to go. The food was very fresh, great quality and very tasty.

We decided to drop in for a snack at lunchtime & saw the Fish & Chips at the takeaway entrance. Result, we ordered some, the quality was excellent, cooked to order so there was a bit of a wait. The chips were plentiful, crisp & the inside was perfectly cooked. The fish was a large tail cut, covered in a very tasty & crisp batter. The fish itself was perfectly cooked, big flakes that were succulent & a delight to eat. The atmosphere was outside, a bit draughty, overlooking the marina, a nice place to eat a nice meal.A couple of clips might be good for holding napkins down.

We have been eyeing this location for a while now and we finally booked in for dinner on a Sunday evening. When we arrived the restaurant was packed and there was a queue outside as well. Since we made a reservation our table was secured. The restaurant was busy. The staff were working super hard trying to get everything rolling. We ordered a bottle of wine while we wait for the food. Food took a while to arrive which was understandable with the amount of orders they must be dealing with. From the starter to the mains every dish we ordered were very well presented and flavourful. Portion size was really good as well. More than the food we were both amazed by the service we received. Despite how busy the restaurant was the staff didn’t forget to ask every single table how their food was and whether they needed anything else. This was some exceptional customer service and I am not surprised why there was a queue to get in. Will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Plymouth with the family and we wanted to try good restaurants, we tried on Sunday night, and it was fully booked, but then we booked it for Bank holiday Monday. We thought the food was amazing and the service was really good, and Sylvia was a great lady who treated us very well. We were visiting from london, and oening a bar and a pub ourselves in London we were impressed with the delicious food we found here. Thank you and hope we will visit soon again.

Consistently outstanding service and food. Best to book a table as always busy. Family run restaurant, so a warm welcome is always available. Good selection on the menu with ever changing specials board. Well worth a try.
