“2025 Update: Newbridge Leisure Centre offers a wide range of activities available in the pool, including parent and toddler sessions, swimming courses and aqua aerobics. They are licensed to accommodate up to 900 people. This leisure centre has educational use of the facilities during school terms and school hours. The sports hall is also available for special events such as dances, concerts, exhibitions, dinners and conferences. Newbridge Leisure Centre has separate male and female changing rooms, along with a designated disabled changing room. Their centre provides free car parking with designated spaces for disabled visitors.”

NEWBRIDGE LEISURE CENTRE REVIEWS

A lovely leisure centre. I use the gym and the swimming pool. Both are clean with excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff. I feel comfortable coming here, even as someone who's trying to get in shape and never feel any judgement from staff or other customers.

We had a pool party booked for my Grandson's 9th birthday. Unfortunately just before we arrived someone had pooed in the pool. Due to health and safety pool cleaning takes 18 hours. The manager was very helpful and accommodating he had his staff to organise alternative activities and has offered us a free pool party slot for the future.

Excellent pool, especially for young children. The water temperature is enough for a toddler to really enjoy for a long session. The slide is good, although seems to closed off 50% of the time. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Price is very good.

I love how welcoming and comfortable Newport International Sports Village feels. Whether I’m there for a workout or a family outing, it’s always a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly, and the facilities are well-maintained. It truly feels like a community hub where everyone can enjoy physical activities together.

I can’t recommend the gym at Newport International Sports Village enough! The biocircuit equipment is excellent for all fitness levels, and the staff are incredibly supportive. After a good workout, I love heading to the café for a well-deserved snack. Their selection of hot food and sandwiches is perfect.

I’ve enrolled my children in several programs at Newport International Sports Village, and I’ve been so impressed with the variety and quality of the activities offered. From preschool sessions to after-school programs, they cater to all ages. It’s reassuring to know my kids are learning new skills in a safe and engaging environment.
