Belle Vue Park can be accessed from Cardiff Road, Belle Vue Lane, and Waterloo Road. Belle Vue Park contains several rare specimens. The park has been awarded the Green Flag Award and has maintained the status for over a decade. Belle Vue Park has many features common in a Victorian park, such as conservatories, a pavilion, a bandstand, and rock gardens. Belle Vue Tearooms is a social enterprise café located near the pavilion. The restored pavilion, conservatory, and bandstand are attractive venues for weddings, meetings, parties, and other events. Tredegar Park is huge, comprising around 90 acres, and includes a large lake that is easy to walk around. There are playing fields and changing rooms for local sports clubs, a children’s play area, a pitch and putt course, tennis courts, and a skate park. The park has a large playground, nine-hole crazy golf, and rugby pitches. Tredegar Park attracts thousands of visitors annually. The skatepark is suitable for skateboarders, scooter users, and BMX riders. There are quieter periods on weekend mornings, which may be ideal for younger children. Tredegar Park has an on-site cafe that serves delicious food.
