“Valley Gardens Harrogate is an award-winning park that has abundant nature, including flowers, trees, and more. This is a 17-acre English Heritage Grade II listed grassland in Regal Low Harrogate, adjacent to the Pinewoods woodlands. Valley Gardens Harrogate has been awarded Platinum in this year's Yorkshire in Bloom competition. Defibrillators for emergency use can be found at the main entrance and the Games Pavilion. The park has lovely historic buildings, such as the colonnades and Sun Pavilion, which sit alongside various flower and herbaceous beds. Valley Gardens Harrogate has amenities such as a children's playground, skate park, bandstand for concerts, paddling pool, orienteering, tennis courts, and pitch and putt. Light refreshments are available from Ripley Ice Cream & Café. The footpaths are suitable for the majority of electric and manual wheelchair users. Valley Gardens Harrogate has free parking, and free street disc-zone car parking is available on Cornwall Road and Valley Drive.

“The Stray is an expensive area of public parkland that comprises 200 acres of parkland encompassing the town centre's southern half. This is an excellent place for dog walkers and kids to play. Several restaurants, cafes, and bars on West Park and Montpellier have good views of the Stray. The park has public areas for games, relaxation, and walks. The Stray is famous for picnicking, outdoor games, kite-flying, and local football matches. The Stray is an ideal and convenient place to enjoy outdoor activities. “Harrogate Caravan Park has 67 pitches, an electric hook-up, heated washrooms, a laundry room and free wifi. Your area must be kept clean and tidy, both during and after use. There are two pot washing sinks available with sanitiser in place for their valuable visitors. Harrogate Caravan Park is perfect for walking or riding into Harrogate. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the native birds. Harrogate Caravan Park is an excellent place for family get-togethers and recreational sports. They also have a sports facility.

VALLEY GARDENS HARROGATE REVIEWS

Such a lovely place, packed full of different features and historical detail. My favourite way to explore is by walking down from RHS Harlow Carr Gardens; you can see all of the different areas and choose what you like: there are water features, lots of varied planting, any number of seats plus icecream etc The paths are pretty good but for anyone with mobility issues I would suggest that you take a meandering route if you are going in from the main entrance so that the inclines are less noticeable. It is always pretty busy as it has such a little to offer. Great for picnics or just sitting in the sun.

One of the beautiful parks in Yorkshire. Child and disabled friendly with restroom, cafe and play area. The tracks are well maintained for prams and wheels to slide into. The garden is beautifully designed and maintained as per the aesthetic and standards. Neat and tidy. Bins can be located everywhere. The play area has a mini golf tracks, tennis courts etc. There is a separate dog lead free area in the park for the fur babies to roam around freely.

This is a lovely park in Harrogate. Many facilities including a nice cafe and ice cream shop. On the Sunday we were there was a very large market spread over a large area. A large area with some good walks.

THE STRAY REVIEWS

First weekend where it was warm and bright (not raining) with the Cherry blossom out. Hundreds of people out taking photos against the pink blossom, including a lot of professionals. Despite this, the place was clean, people are polite and there is still a massive amount of space. The council have done plenty of prep work to make it look nice and its worked. Everyone was enjoying the local natural beauty of the park.

The Harrogate Stray is a fantastic piece of land surrounding the Spa Town's centre and is perfect for social activities from a small picnic through to a full sized football game. Every Saturday you can join the Park Run event and on Sundays several football matches can be found set up (when in season). You are only a couple of minutes away from the town centre and, if you look carefully, you will find free car parking zones.

Nice park for Saturday morning Parkrun. Toilets available which is a great feature of this park. Dog friendly. Lots of flat surfaces. Parking spaces kinda difficult to find as the entire place is permit holder.

HARROGATE CARAVAN PARK REVIEWS

This caravan park is well located to gain access to Harrogate. When you arrive, you are greeted by the warden who is very helpful and friendly. The pitches are well kept and the area in general is very quiet. The toilet facilities are in good condition. The shower cubicles are small with no shower curtain so sandals/crocs are a necessity as everything gets wet. It’s well priced and offers good value. There is a train station within walking distance if you require access further afield. There is also a great farm shop and sainsburys next door.

Nice park in a good location with easy access to Sainsburys and the bus stop at the end of the road. Fodder farm shop is right next door and well worth a visit. Facilities clean, modern and well maintained, Park wardens were great, very friendly, informative and approachable. All in all a great stay, we will be back and have already recommended Harrogate Caravan Park to friends.

Great little site, Clean and very good facilities. Large pitches with generous spacing between. About 40 mins walk into town and number 7 bus back to sainsburys next door.
