This is a 17-acre English Heritage Grade II listed grassland in Regal Low Harrogate, adjacent to the Pinewoods woodlands. Valley Gardens Harrogate has been awarded Platinum in this year's Yorkshire in Bloom competition. Defibrillators for emergency use can be found at the main entrance and the Games Pavilion. The park has lovely historic buildings, such as the colonnades and Sun Pavilion, which sit alongside various flower and herbaceous beds. Valley Gardens Harrogate has amenities such as a children's playground, skate park, bandstand for concerts, paddling pool, orienteering, tennis courts, and pitch and putt. Light refreshments are available from Ripley Ice Cream & Café. The footpaths are suitable for the majority of electric and manual wheelchair users. Valley Gardens Harrogate has free parking, and free street disc-zone car parking is available on Cornwall Road and Valley Drive.
