Central Park is the largest park in Plymouth. The park consists of a wide boulevards go through the parks open meadows and woodlands, up and down hills with fantastic views over the city towards Plymouth Sound and Cornwall. The park has multiuse, tarmac paths link all areas of the park, suitable for wheelchairs and prams with seating throughout. Play equipment is available for children of all ages and abilities.

West Hoe Park has a wonderful overlooking Plymouth Sound to the south and backdrop of a large limestone cliff to the north. The park has a playground with a wheelchair roundabout, accessible swing seat, cone climber, dragonfly see-saw and multi-play unit. It has a large children's play area, a miniature railway and putting green, it makes a great family day out. The park provides a range of activities from soft play, to bushcraft, to bouncy castles, storytelling and water play.

Freedom Fields Park is one of Plymouth's most historic parks. The beautiful park has many fantastic features, including the Siege Monument, which commemorates the victory of Parliamentarian forces over the Royalists during the Civil War, and two Victorian shelters. The park has multi-use games area on tarmac, climbing frame, ball court, tyre swings and roundabouts, and all paths are tarmac and are flat, allowing pram and wheelchair users to access all areas.
