West Hoe Park is the perfect place for your children to visit. The park features a large children's play area, crazy golf, trampolines, a miniature railway, a putting green, a merry-go-round, and a bouncy castle. West Hoe Park holds the Green Flag Award and is also an excellent destination to hang out with friends, have a picnic, enjoy beverages, and meet up with groups of all sizes. There is a beautiful secret garden with wooden climbing features dotted through the glade. Additional amusements include a free playground with swings, slides, and more. The playground features a wheelchair roundabout, a cone climber, an accessible swing seat, a dragonfly see-saw, and a multi-play unit. West Hoe Park hosts various concerts, festivals, and events.

Freedom Fields Park features a climbing frame, ball court, sand play, tyre swings, and roundabouts. There is also a wildflower meadow with bluebells, daffodils, and snowdrops. Seating facilities are available throughout the park. Freedom Fields Park hosts various community events annually, fostering a significant sense of community.

2025 Update: Freedom Fields Park is open 24 hours a day and is free to use, and it also has public toilets that have disabled access.
