COLCHESTER ZOO REVIEWS
Had a great day out at the zoo. Plenty to keep all ages entertained for hours. Special mention for Paul who was one of the guides on the train. How he can keep telling the guests about all the animals and telling jokes whilst having to hurd us off on and off the train and through the enclosure without having a melt down is amazing. Keep up the good work. Overall I can't fault anything about my visit. Highly recommend and I will be visiting with the kids again soon.
Colchester zoo is amazing. I have a gold card so can visit with the grandchildren as often as I like. Lots to see and plenty of places to stop for refreshment. The baby tigers were a real treat to see. Lots of other wells kept animals, birds, fish and reptiles. I love the fact they have made the old church a feature.
Best Zoo ever been. Good for family and kids. The zoo is quite big, so you need a whole day if you plan to visit. Animals are looked after, clean facilities, friendly staff. Recommended.

Beautiful! Enjoyed two hours here, very relaxing, manicured lawns, serene trees, colourful displays. Loved the gardens and the nursery offered lovely plants on sale grown in their own gardens.
Beth Chatto Gardens were beautiful. The different types of plans and colours were amazing. You should make time to walk peacefully around this quiet wonderful place.
My first visit to the Gardens today, absolutely beautiful, love that every plant was labelled. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff when buying plants. So many bees and butterflies which was lovely to see.

EAST ANGLIAN RAILWAY MUSEUM REVIEWS
We really enjoy visiting this museum and also the events that they host. Today we attended the Christmas day out with Thomas. Everything was well set out and managed and my children were able to enjoy all the rides and shows. Santa was brilliant and put in a lot of effort.
I feel compelled to leave a review after our day with Thomas. The staff were fantastic and made the experience even better. Friendly, polite, always waving and big smiles everywhere. Everyone from the drivers to the catering staff. They are a credit to the museum.
This place was an excellent find. Went on a Sunday in July (non-event day) and it was nice and quiet. My sons (7 & 13) enjoyed walking around the site and climbing on the trains and the bus. A truly lovely place.
